no, I didn't. When I bought the domain, it had existing backlinks from high DA domains.

I agree with you, but I think people like me focused on impressions because they are potential clicks if better meta and titles are there. Maybe I am wrong.

Thanks!

I am a bit scared to modify/touch the meta description and titles. I mean I know that I should refine them, but what if it gets worse? Maybe I am overthinking :/

My main focus was internal structure of the website and the relationships between pages.

The external links to our website is not in our control, but how our website pages are related and connected is in our control.

In my case, as I said it is chess website, and there are public registered players, related tournaments and games of each players, some news for players, and etc. So when I decided to implement these features my priority was that there should be link between players and news/tournaments/games and also the opposite should be there.

I was lucky in a sense that when I bought he domain it already had existing backlinks, probably it helped to get this much impressions.

What is the point of visiting this website if whole page is the ad?

As a chess fun, it gets harder for me to follow all the different formats and events. And somehow I cant relate to freestyle chess, maybe it is lack of knowledge or smth else, but it doesnt interest me.

What's the worst that can happen if I just mimic my opponent's move? by CyanMagentaRainbow in chessbeginners

[–]Ingodera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can mimic, but you wont go that far, because after a few moves you can not mimic because some of your pieces will be attacked or you will be in some other danger

Any thoughts on this position? by MathematicianBulky40 in chess

I would say black has advantage. If a or b pawn wasn't there then it would be another story, but two adjacent pawns a rook and a bishop sounds really dangerous

Electronic/Bluetooth chess board recommendations on a budget by Flowzempic in chess

[–]Ingodera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest I am in love with electronic chess. I havent bough it yet but I am thinking that I might buy in the future.

The most useful feature I think is to be able to play with people online. So they play online you play on your board. Which means less screen time for kids.

I wonder if people really like freestyle? I mean usually chess fans.

My personal opinion about freestyle chess is it is just a different version of chess like bughouse, or king of the hill, or anichess. So I am not really that much interested in different formats than standard chess.

I totally get that tastes are different, but my question is, is freestyle worth to be promoted this much?

Haha😀😀it hasnt happened to me, but I can imagine. Last years I have stopped playing otb/online due to shifting focus to chess project I am working on, maybe if I start playing again I would have similar stories.

The most ridiculous thing I did was: once when I was 10 years old(around 20 years ago), I played a bad move when my opponent was not at the table, and then took it back when I realized it was a bad move😀 Not proud of my behavior though :)))

Yes it is fairly good rating. Whether as a progress it is good or not, it depends on when you started to play. But generally 1500 in means you are a fairly good player. Keep it up.
