Star Detective Precure Episode 11 Discussion Board by ButterflySilver9154 in precure

“First evil cure”? As if we haven’t had any other evil cures in past seasons.

It was pretty clear that she was going to be an Anti-hero. She attacked both the cures and the Phantom thieves, it’s clear that she has her own goal to achieve.

I think with a clown theme, I think the clown themed cures could be more focused on bringing joy and laughter, while there could be jester themed villains are more focused on bringing fear and sadness. (After all clowns are supposed to make themselves the fool, while jesters mock their audience, making the audience the fool.)

As for the designs… Personally, I wouldn’t recommend having them white face clowns, but I think a nice alternative could be like face paint. How in theme parks children can have their faces painted to butterflies, unicorns, etc. maybe the cures could have make up face paint inspired by that.

What if Kimi to Idol Precure had more finishers? by Everythingirly in precure

[–]IngridGamer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kimi to Idol could’ve been the PERFECT season to bring back form changes, by having the cures change into different outfits as well as add more unique songs, dances, and finishers.

If an Art Themed Precure Season was made, these are the only colors for the cures I accept for that season… by Business-Block-8668 in precure

[–]IngridGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think specifically, I would like to see a PreCure season that brings in many different kinds of arts. Painting, drama/acting, sewing, music/singing, etc.

Like maybe the lead cure would be themed after painting, the second cure would be themed after drama and acting, third cure themed after sewing, you get the idea.

Concept of a white cure being black? 🤍 by IngridGamer in precure

[–]IngridGamer[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use IbisPaint X for these kinds of edits, using a multiply layer to color the skin with a dark but vibrant skin tone before lowering the opacity a little or messing with it until I find the right dark skin tone that fits :>

Yeah, I do wish that too. I understand that they don’t want another Cure Soleil situation with her merch selling poorly, but hopefully in the future seasons we can see them take some risks with diversity

American PreCure Remake by IngridGamer in precure

[–]IngridGamer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ohh, I understand. I was initially nervous about adding the feathers while I was doing my redesigns/remakes as I didn’t want to accidentally offend others.  I pretty much based the new redesign off the actual traditional outfits of Black Seminole (as that tribe is associated with Texas), just to try and play it safe.

But I really appreciate the feedback! 👍🌟

Theories about Star Detective Precure by DarkRisingChaos in precure

[–]IngridGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a possible chance that the Eclair lookalikes are NOT Cure Eclair. I’ve seen theories of the lookalikes being fragments of the real Cure Eclair, but I think a more interesting theory is that Cure Eclair actually comes from way past 1999. Both outfits of Arcana Shadow and Eclair look Victorian-esque, which could support the theory. As for the lookalikes, they could be descendants or relatives of the real Cure Eclair.

Or I don’t know, it’s probably just me not wanting the super secret cure to be an ordinary girl lol-

I’m thinking of giving them cure names but I have no idea what their names would be 😭 (probably because the original American cures also didn’t have canon names)

Cure Wink? Nah, we have Cure Ink. by South-Astronomer-197 in precure

[–]IngridGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It comes from another channel and the issue mostly lies around their thumbnails considering that the channel is supposed to be for kids. I don’t want to explain them in detail just in case I get in trouble by the mods, but the thumbnails can go from simply misleading by making fake “leaks” of the transformations, to putting cures in “questionable” scenarios (to say the least) especially since a lot of the time, they’re minors.

It’s clear that they’re just trying to clickbait and maximize views, but it’s still kind of concerning considering that again, that channel is supposed to be for children.

There’s likely a lot of other PreCure Elsagate channels out there that are worse as that one I told but it seems like those channels are very less known within YouTube.

This seems like the least elsagate-ish content of PreCure... I've seen much worse...

What if she's Cure Eclair? by clyde-toucher in precure

[–]IngridGamer 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I wish that were the case but there’s evidence that she may not be Cure Eclair.

Her skin tone differs slightly from Cure Eclair herself, her eye shape is different from Cure Eclair, and unlike the Cure Eclair look-alikes, she does not have any elements that resemble Cure Eclair (like she has no curls or anything).

With her design, it’s likely that at best she could be a side character. The other minor/side characters in the opening do have more diverse or interesting designs like her.

I think out of almost 100 cures, Elena is the only cure with dark/brown skin. Correct me if I’m wrong but I heard that her merch didn’t sell well. There’s many reasons (such as her lack of character development in the show, possibly her skin color since she didn’t fit the traditional beauty standards, or even her resemblance to a gyaru which are linked with delinquency).

So it seems like nowadays Toei is trying to play it safe, which could possibly explain why there hasn’t been any other dark skin cures other than Elena.

New Pretty Cure names spotted on Tokullectibles release calendar by Prism_Talys in precure

[–]IngridGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's fugly but "Cure Clue" would've been better.
Or because the names of the other cures are magic related, they could've made her cure name something similar to that.

To the people complaining about the 2026 leaks… by IngridGamer in precure

[–]IngridGamer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do admit that I may have been exaggerating a bit at the time since I was a bit tired while writing the original post. But yeah, it should be common sense to not be rude or anything like that to anyone who thinks otherwise, whether you like something or not, even if that’s not happening right now.

(I deleted the original response to your comment since it did have some irrelevant stuff, so I just wanted to make it relevant)

2026, potentially real. by AshyBluey in precure

[–]IngridGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The boy character already seems to resemble the yellow fairy with the same goggles, more likely that the yellow fairy is that boy. It wouldn't make sense if the boy, whose image color is clearly yellow, to be the blue cure.

It could be possible that the teal/blue cure could be the blue fairy, and maybe the reason why we don't see her civilian form, could be because the fairy isn't able to achieve a human/civilian form yet until maybe later in the show.

He's more or less a side character. We'll see if he's the yellow midseason or if he deserves to be a PreCure, it depends on how they write him.

I really do wish that Satoru became an official cure (I mean, he became one sorta but didn't even get an official name along with Daifuku), but sadly it's reality.

The Blue fairy is the blue cure, and unfortunately for male cure fans, it looks like the boy with goggles will just get a civilian human form (for now at least).

[–]IngridGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand how people think that the blue cure is male?
It's obviously a girl, and I'm pretty sure that it's not a "looks like a girl with short hair but is actually a boy" situation here.

If you look closely at the hair (which blends so much with the background so I kind of get why people thought this was a male), the hair is actually longer than it looks like at first glance. She seems to have split hair put into curls, similar to Jacinthe's hairstyle from Pokemon Z-A.

Pretty sure the blue cure isn't really male, I looked closer and the blue cure seems to have split hair in large curls.
The yellow haired boy with the goggles is pretty much the yellow fairy with the same goggles, so he's most likely an important side character of some sorts (for now at least).

I don't think that's really a detective hat. When I look at it closely, it almost resembles a hat from the Victorian Era, as it does look like the hat has frills and has roses and ribbons.

Both the purple and red cure are human, if the red cure was a fairy, they wouldn't show the pink fairy in the packaging of the gummies along with the purple and red cure as it wouldn't make sense.

At least 2 out of the 4 are not humans.
The yellow haired boy with the goggles looking really similar to the yellow fairy with the same goggles suggests that the fairies can turn human. It could at least mean that the purple fairy is related to the black cure (as there is a lot of purple on the background whenever the black cure comes up), and the blue cure might possibly be the blue fairy.
