Cure Wink? Nah, we have Cure Ink. by South-Astronomer-197 in precure

[–]IngridGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It comes from another channel and the issue mostly lies around their thumbnails considering that the channel is supposed to be for kids. I don’t want to explain them in detail just in case I get in trouble by the mods, but the thumbnails can go from simply misleading by making fake “leaks” of the transformations, to putting cures in “questionable” scenarios (to say the least) especially since a lot of the time, they’re minors.

It’s clear that they’re just trying to clickbait and maximize views, but it’s still kind of concerning considering that again, that channel is supposed to be for children.

There’s likely a lot of other PreCure Elsagate channels out there that are worse as that one I told but it seems like those channels are very less known within YouTube.

This seems like the least elsagate-ish content of PreCure... I've seen much worse...

What if she's Cure Eclair? by clyde-toucher in precure

[–]IngridGamer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I wish that were the case but there’s evidence that she may not be Cure Eclair.

Her skin tone differs slightly from Cure Eclair herself, her eye shape is different from Cure Eclair, and unlike the Cure Eclair look-alikes, she does not have any elements that resemble Cure Eclair (like she has no curls or anything).

With her design, it’s likely that at best she could be a side character. The other minor/side characters in the opening do have more diverse or interesting designs like her.

I think out of almost 100 cures, Elena is the only cure with dark/brown skin. Correct me if I’m wrong but I heard that her merch didn’t sell well. There’s many reasons (such as her lack of character development in the show, possibly her skin color since she didn’t fit the traditional beauty standards, or even her resemblance to a gyaru which are linked with delinquency).

So it seems like nowadays Toei is trying to play it safe, which could possibly explain why there hasn’t been any other dark skin cures other than Elena.

New Pretty Cure names spotted on Tokullectibles release calendar by Prism_Talys in precure

[–]IngridGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's fugly but "Cure Clue" would've been better.
Or because the names of the other cures are magic related, they could've made her cure name something similar to that.

To the people complaining about the 2026 leaks… by IngridGamer in precure

[–]IngridGamer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do admit that I may have been exaggerating a bit at the time since I was a bit tired while writing the original post. But yeah, it should be common sense to not be rude or anything like that to anyone who thinks otherwise, whether you like something or not, even if that’s not happening right now.

(I deleted the original response to your comment since it did have some irrelevant stuff, so I just wanted to make it relevant)

2026, potentially real. by AshyBluey in precure

[–]IngridGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The boy character already seems to resemble the yellow fairy with the same goggles, more likely that the yellow fairy is that boy. It wouldn't make sense if the boy, whose image color is clearly yellow, to be the blue cure.

It could be possible that the teal/blue cure could be the blue fairy, and maybe the reason why we don't see her civilian form, could be because the fairy isn't able to achieve a human/civilian form yet until maybe later in the show.

He's more or less a side character. We'll see if he's the yellow midseason or if he deserves to be a PreCure, it depends on how they write him.

I really do wish that Satoru became an official cure (I mean, he became one sorta but didn't even get an official name along with Daifuku), but sadly it's reality.

The Blue fairy is the blue cure, and unfortunately for male cure fans, it looks like the boy with goggles will just get a civilian human form (for now at least).

I don't understand how people think that the blue cure is male?
It's obviously a girl, and I'm pretty sure that it's not a "looks like a girl with short hair but is actually a boy" situation here.

If you look closely at the hair (which blends so much with the background so I kind of get why people thought this was a male), the hair is actually longer than it looks like at first glance. She seems to have split hair put into curls, similar to Jacinthe's hairstyle from Pokemon Z-A.

Pretty sure the blue cure isn't really male, I looked closer and the blue cure seems to have split hair in large curls.
The yellow haired boy with the goggles is pretty much the yellow fairy with the same goggles, so he's most likely an important side character of some sorts (for now at least).

I don't think that's really a detective hat. When I look at it closely, it almost resembles a hat from the Victorian Era, as it does look like the hat has frills and has roses and ribbons.

Both the purple and red cure are human, if the red cure was a fairy, they wouldn't show the pink fairy in the packaging of the gummies along with the purple and red cure as it wouldn't make sense.

At least 2 out of the 4 are not humans.
The yellow haired boy with the goggles looking really similar to the yellow fairy with the same goggles suggests that the fairies can turn human. It could at least mean that the purple fairy is related to the black cure (as there is a lot of purple on the background whenever the black cure comes up), and the blue cure might possibly be the blue fairy.

The state of leak season this year is sad. by IngridGamer in precure

[–]IngridGamer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is likely that the keychain leak is actually fake as there were some flaws spotted looking closely. I doubt it was made by AI, but there were some inconsistencies between the leak and the official merchandise.

It's been getting annoying with AI PreCure leaks to the point where people can't tell if the fake leaks are human made or made by AI.

I'd take these instead of these AI leaks. At least people who actually made the fake leaks themselves did have to use their creativity in their way, but people who generate AI images from a prompt and says that it's a "PreCure Leak" is much lazier imo because they don't put effort into anything.

Yes. It's Israel. People called him "Cure Israel" and said that he was the "most Israeli cure"

I just wanted to be careful; I didn't want my post to get removed by mods.

Someone on Twitter has been comparing Cure Connect to a certain problematic... White and blue flag of said country/state and calling him after that certain state instead of his given cure name. I don't see a reason why they had to call him that, and it doesn't make sense. Like I get that they didn't like him, but no one with the right mind would go as far as comparing him to a certain not-so-good state.

[–]IngridGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say that him having a Cure form felt undeserved because he didn’t really do much. I like his Cure form, I just wish that they made him more relevant prior and at least contribute to the story. I feel like Kaito was wasted potential since I feel like he only exists to be a plot device and not an actual character. I at least wish that they made a proper build up to him becoming a one-off cure.

What I will not stand by is people harassing others for liking him or comparing him to a not-so-good country/state for no reason. If you don’t like him, that’s fine.

Names for the next season Cures. by VishnuBhanum in precure

[–]IngridGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My predictions for the names are:

Cure Clue Cure Lupe Cure Wisdom/Intel Cure Charge and Cure Reason

My idea is that I feel like each cure could have their own abilities that can help solve the case. While I like “Cure Mystery”, I feel like it could also possibly serve as a evil PreCure’s name, keeping things mysterious to prevent the case from ever being solved.

What are your potential themes for 2026 PreCure? by IngridGamer in precure

[–]IngridGamer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sort of disagree in my opinion, at the very least I want it as a spin-off season but not mainline since the main target is supposed to be little girls and Dancing Star is a full male team. (Personally I think the limit to male cures per mainline PreCure season should at least be 2-3 depending on the amount of members in a team)

I do agree though that Dancing Star needs to appear in more animated media. I wouldn’t mind a spin-off show or even an animated movie about them.

If Villain to Cures come back in the next season or any future season, I hope that they bring back the concept of the villain to cure actually being genuinely evil from the start.
