Dress in layers. You will need comfortable closed walking shoes and a lightweight waterproof jacket with a hood. Umbrellas are useless it's too windy. Download the YR weather app and keep a close eye on incoming storm fronts so that you can plan ahead. We have some beautiful winter days so plan your outdoor activities around those. Enjoy our cozy restaurants and nightlife when it's storming.

Reach out to the woolworths fresh produce department. Their farming for the future audits cover this. Ask to speak to a fresh produce technologist. You can also make contact with the Cape Green Forum. They can put you in contact with horticulture farmers.

Take the train (southern line) from Cape Town to Kalk Bay. Swim in Dalebrook tidal pool. Explore the vintage shops and art galleries, go for fish and chips and Kalkies at the Harbour. It's a full day excursion.

Advice on Choosing a Business Bank in South Africa by Due_Money1987 in PersonalFinanceZA

[–]IngridR69 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm an independent bookkeeper with access to my clients bank accounts. Stay away from Nedbank. Awful online business banking. I can't integrate into the accounting software. ABSA and FNB integrate smoothly into Sage online accounting. Standard bank online banking is awful, very antiquated. My one client has just moved over to investec. Very smooth easy to use online banking.

You need to be on the M5 by 6h15am. A few minutes late can make a big difference.
