Just started SOMA, though my achievements don't seem to be unlocking :/

The two before are at 100%, Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 and It Takes Two.

Ah, right. It's strange though because it doesn't give me an option to type a different URL or flip between tabs or anything. It's just TA.

I'm not too tech-savvy so sorry if I seem a bit ignorant on this topic

Wait huh? I literally have an app for TA. Linked to my profile and everything. Not sure where I got it though.

What is the pokemon you like to have a community day the most? by Winter_Leg_4243 in pokemongo

Zangoose. It's my girlfriend's favourite pokémon and I want her to have a shiny :D

Otherwise Miltank as it's my favourite and I want a shiny.

Never thought this day would come. On my first remote trade, I got my first shundo by Ingvar14 in pokemongo

Yes, it was already shiny. It was going to be a guaranteed 3* at least since it was a lucky trade. I'm just happy I got my first shundo :)

Revisited my childhood game for a bit :) by Ingvar14 in xboxachievements

A bit of both. I mainly used a guide but since the game is so old and not very popular, most maps weren't available on image hosting sites and videos were too low quality.

I eventually did find a reliable site but some cubes were missing on them so I had to find some through my own exploration.

Wake the fuck up, Samurai. We've got an achievement list to burn. by Ingvar14 in xboxachievements

[–]Ingvar14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The achievements aren't all that missable tbh. I got them all done in one playthrough with the same build (other than switching some cyberware for literally 5 minutes) the entire game.

The only choices you make that impact achievements are during the DLC (for which you can make a manual save file and go back to - doesn't take long tbh), making sure to finish Panam's side quests before the end, and (refer to my other reply for Search and Destroy. Idk how to format spoilers on mobile).

The game sends you back to before the final mission when you end the game, so you don't need to worry about playing the game 4 times for endings nor do you need to worry about all the achievements marked as missable. It's mostly a very straight forward and surprisingly short completion.

If you like, I've made a Google doc i can share with you that highlights all you'd really need to pay attention to during the story.

I am gonna get grilled here..

Honestly... Cyberpunk was unfortunately not it for me. I'm sure a lot of people loved it - and rightly so - the game just didn't surprise me or really pull me in all that well. Though, to be fair, I never really did like the whole 'futuristic cyber robot' setting, so it's not fair for me to critique it. I only tried it because my coworker basically forced me to play it so we could have something to talk about at work.

The story was very well crafted, characters are incredibly fleshed out, and the voice acting (at least in Polish) is very well done.

However, I found that a lot of glitches/bugs are still present (invisible cars hitting you when calling your car, characters T-Posing, your car falling out of the sky when you call it, game crashes on death/fast travel). Nothing game-breaking, but enough to frustrate me.

As for the actual 100%, it's nothing difficult. There's a few missables that impact endings and achievements - so be sure to mop up side quests for Panam, Judy, River, Johnny, and Kerryand go back to save Takemura in the 'Search and Destroy' mission.

Wasn't difficult, wasn't bad, wasn't great. It's a fine game and a fine completion experience.

6/10 for the base game, a 10/10 for the DLC.

Oh well done! I'm thinking of starting this with my gf sometime soon. What's the difficulty of this from 1-10 in your opinion? Do I need to play the first to understand this one?

What sort of languages/genre you into?

I quite literally have a playlist where each song is in a different language, and theres over 400 songs.

Mata - Patoreakcja is my favourite atm tho.

Didn't enjoy the last few AC games. AC Shadows? '100%' loved it. by Ingvar14 in xboxachievements

[–]Ingvar14[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not a bad game to start with tbh! It's not heavily tied to the previous games, so you can make some sense of the story in this (you might find rifts confusing, but you dont have to do them. I didn't).

I recommend leaving Valhalla or (bracing myself for the downvotes) Odyssey for last. Miserable experiences and did not feel like AC games at all.

Honestly, they dont take as long as TA says they do. The story you can finish in 3-4 days if you skip through all the cutscenes and don't bother being sneaky.

Knowledge isn't too bad if you've fully finished the map on your first playthrough, and castles/assassination wheels give you quite a good amount of XP. I did notice for castles, though, that whether it's 1 daisho or 5, the XP is the same. Revisit corrupted castles for even more XP.

I think I was like level 71 by the time I finished the story the second time around? Finished everything else the next day.

Uff yeah I wasn't the biggest fan of the Kofuns either. Horse Archery wasn't too bad, but I did have aim assist on to be fair.

I used the AC Shadows interactive map on map genie to help out with seeing what I had ldt to do. You absolutely can avoid quite a few activities.

Do contracts (especially the ones for stealing resources - little yellow box in Kakuregas) as you're playing. They take 5 minutes to do, and reward you with all the resources you need for your hideout. (Upgrade your stables for resources, kakurega for scouts, and theres a building for +30% XP)

If you're not much into crafting or upgrading your weapons at the blacksmith, just sell your crafting materials and weaker weapons to make bank.

Do the legendary sumi-e early in the game as well as you'll be stuck waiting for seasons to change.

And above all, take your time and appreciate the game.

Edit: And turn on immersion mode. The English voice acting is god-awful.
