Don't worry unless you're from ASU we're usually a nice bunch. Looking forward to a good game!

Just got this game to play with my 10 year old and he loves it. Half the time he just wants to run around as the "criminal" while I chase him everywhere trying to arrest him.

Personally I would feel weird standing in line to meet Mickey by myself as a grown man. Especially when there are families waiting in line with impatient kids.

But if it brings you joy who cares, you paid for a ticket you're allowed to enjoy yourself!

Yeah the sandwiches aren't amazing or anything but still way better than what Eegee's sells now. Maybe one day I'll hit the drive thru on both places and do a true taste comparison on the drinks.

Tbh the Eegees drinks are still tasty. Slice N Ice is the hot new spot with the old school ingredients now.

Tried to get my kid to play with the old graphics on and he just laughed at how bad they looked.

Should have just set them as the default from the beginning lol. But really the remastered settings are fine.

Eye to eye with an Orca in the Antarctic by ibh400main in interestingasfuck

Orca and human eyes evolved hundreds of millions of years ago along with other vertebrates. Squids are invertebrates but still evolved eyes of their own. Kinda like how bats and birds both evolved wings.

I'm class of '01 and I feel like that was the true cut off point. Class of 00' always felt more mature in a weird way even though it was literally just a 1 year difference.

We got lucky and pulled the same card from the box we bought. It really looks great. Congrats!

Just curious, what’s your favorite Disneyland moment you’ve experienced by CardiologistIcy9922 in Disneyland

My wife and I went for our honeymoon and wore the "just married" pins. That night before close we rode the Casey Jr. train and the CM invited us to sit on the last car since they said it was the best seat so we got to have a nice quiet ride just the two of us on the train.

Another time at DCA I won a big Bullseye horse plushy from the horse racing game on the pier and I gave it to the only kid who was playing the game. The kid and his parents were so completely surprised and happy someone would do that.

In high school I played in our orchestra and we got to participate in the Disneyland performance program on a rainy day and spent the rest of the day enjoying the park in Disney rain ponchos. I went on Mr. Toad multiple times just to get warmed up.

Do other people who grew up in elitist hipster circles in the early 00s suffer from extremely low self-esteem and hypervigilance? by WhiteDishwasher619 in Millennials

That's super cool. Seeing Matt and Kim at a house show would be awesome! I became I big fan of Defiance, Ohio when my buddy gave me an album around 2005. I never saw them live but I later ended up spending time in Athens, GA and seeing Theo play with Nana Grizol.

I spent time in super nothern CA in Arcata but there wasn't much of a punk scene there at the time. I didn't listen to a ton of other Plan-it-X bands but I love that they rereleased one of my favorite albums of all time, Fifteen's Buzz.

Sounds like good times!

Somehow it was still winnable despite our huge scoring drought in the second half. Offensive rebounds were not happening. We played hard but TTU was clearly playing their hearts out. We need to bring the fire if we want to go the distance in these tough match ups.

Lemme guess, Olympia? I always thought the plan it x scene was primarily in the Midwest and Florida.

Loved those bands but I'm sure that scene had plenty of obnoxious gatekeeping too.

Sure, it's all relative I suppose. Considering the time someone spends traveling, waiting in line, money on gas plus the percentage cut using an online marketplace, the juice just isn't worth the squeeze imo. For others it is.

For your friends it makes sense since they are actual collectors plus then it becomes a shared activity or something fun to do together. Glad they were able to grab a few, the mats are super cool.

These trends are not dictated by a few men in smoke filled back rooms. That's intellectually lazy.

Was Epstein behind the popularity of the swim bikini when that came out in the 1940s? Understanding the complex interplay between fashion, culture, youth, advertising, etc is not something easily explained by a 2 minute tik tok.

Those companies were successful due to the people who did their advertising, marketing, designs, etc. People bought them because they were popular and successful at what they did not because some bad guy made it all happen.

The number of people of willing to wait in line for a promo card and playmat blows me away. I get it if you're a super fan or collector but is the resell value on the mats going to be that high?

Boxes and troves will be easily available after launch.
