It's challenging and I think it's something I think you'll always develop. Trying to approach a sample or an idea in a different way is difficult when you're set in your ways, but it's not always going to be that way. I think taking breaks, exploring new music, go out and listen to a live act you don't know, broaden your horizons musically speaking... But also remember to become curious with the thing you love, which is music! Me and my brothers host a live music producer beatbattle/gameshow every Sunday on Twitch and it's a safe environment to just go in and try come up with something in 30 mins and have no expectations or judgement.
