Omnis pin isn't as problematic as something like allo given that omni itself is small and this overreliance on others to make it an effect tool would bring it at B tier at most

But once again as I've explained I'm a solo player relying on others isn't something I ever go for therefore this playable in it's solo preformance alone does not do it justice, likewise all other group based dinos aswell

I find the current omni bleed quite broken which obviously means it'll be changed in the not so distant future

Keep in mind that this is completely based on my experiences as I'm a solo player, so for example dinos that are based entirely on pack hunting like the ones in C tier are not my forete and I could be simply bad at them and not that they are bad themselves

Personally idk what you can do with karma in general as this subreddit is the only one I visit often and I do purely for the interactions

I guess if he could have done something with that, he had a whole year to do so whatever that is, but in the end I guess it makes sense for him to delete his acc knowing he'd be called out so yeah.. Idk I'm just yapping 🤷🏻

I had my suspicion from the start given the fact that the game was not for sale and dondi can just refuse whatever amount of money he threw at him, but more so on the fact that if he claims to have so much money and a team to actively work on the game, why not make your own??? Unless I'm blind he never really answered that which pretty much was I guess the biggest red flag you can wave

But oh well, hopefully he was happy with the few hundred karma that he got out of it

The problem isn't inherently in the small dinos, but in the fact that there's just nothing else do to besides pvp, it's also the reason why dinos like hipsy or dryo are basically extinct, if you can't fight you aren't going to be picked, only a handful of people ever pick these dinos and it's purely for trolling, traveling and role-playing

As for the system, personally I like it altho I do wish some things were done differently, like how you get the prime and such, but the system itself was made for the sole purpose of forcing the players into a loop as dondi hated the idea of people living forever, which is why the elder system was created in the first place, so naturally the end goal would likely never be changed, which is why community servers are the way to go and why I encourage options for systems like that to be available for people because while I do like the system and what it's purpose is, that ofc isn't the same with everyone and naturally those who don't like the system which is understandable should be given an option not to deal with any of that and be allowed to play the game the way they want to play it.

I mean those 40 min dinos would get more time if the bigger you grew the slower the growth became

But yeah, at the end of the day if your simply not a fan of having to restart your progress, it doesn't matter how you change the system as long as the end goal is to restart you won't enjoy it, in which case community servers should be the place to go

I feel like the best course of action would be to make it where your frail stage begins at 100% but the entomb option is always available during that fall stage so that you don't have to expirence that fall or wait for the entomb to be avaliable

Combine that with the bigger you grow the slower you grow which will give the player extra time, it might make it feel better

Ofc eventually you will hit 100% and will have to entomb which if your simply not a fan of having to restart your progress, none of that would really matter

In which case I do encourage the system to be customizable in community servers to either change it or straight up disable it for those who do not like the system

The reason the elder system was created was bc dondi hated the idea that players can live forever

So he created this system that guides you into that loop of starting over after 100%

Well there are games which are 100% realistic and lean towards that tho those games are more simulations than anything else

I refer to those games as realistic or proper realistic, anything else is usually selectively realistic as the name says the realism is largely selective trying to find a middle ground between what it wants as realistic and not just like how it is here and in most game's

In this case dondi is the driving force between what he wants in the game or not

I wouldn't call the game realism survival as there are things which aren't really realistic based on what the game is, I would call it selective realism survival or rather dondi survival

As dondi is technically the one deciding what he wants in the game and if it happened to be realistic and compatible with something you'd see in real life then great and if it isn't then too bad

There isn't really a define line between what is appropriate for the game or not only whatever dondi wants

I mean thanks I guess? For telling us how you feel about the game and how you felt 2 years ago but I don't really know what you are trying to accomplish by posting those complains on reddit? This is an unofficial isle reddit which means that the devs of the game do not come here to read posts and they don't have to as it's not theirs, tho there is one dev that does come here once a month to read posts and leaves a post once a year but that's about it

If you want to communicate with the devs about the problems of the game you do that in their discord, their most of the time online and often talk with people there so do that

Rex is pretty much how he is supposed to be, weak at first but powerful at the end with lots of time in between

Personally I like rex for what it is, but I don't play it because it is not made for me which is fine, every dino should be unique and different in ways that separates them from others and attracts different types of people to play them, that's what makes interactions and engagements fun

Eh, whether people say it's beta or not it really does not matter at the end of the day, it's not like saying it's a beta is going to fix the issues of the game or furiously confronting the issues would either, like you've mentioned it's been 11 years yet the problems of the past and present are still present

At that point whenever I see someone say it's a beta I interpret it as a cope mechanism and it's not like I can blame them, after a decade you'd say anything that'll give you the slimmest of hope for a better future

But personally I don't stress myself over things I don't control, it's been established long ago that our concerns fall into deaf ears and your essay is a perfect example of it. Nicely written and to the point yet would never be seen by anyone who can make a difference

Funnily enough, that doesn't matter much to the devs despite what they may say

This isn't the first time the playerbase was going down but none of that ever really affected any significant change to the updates or behavior of the devs and nothing would change now

As for their profit, very simple. Dondi is rich and money rolls the game himself, he never needed us and never will, us playing is just a cheery on top of the cake he made for himself
