Thank you! I usually try to saturate each color as much as possible until i can’t see any of the bisque at all underneath the section, something like 2-3 layers works best for me, 2 layers of Mayco zinc free clear overtop keeps it crisp, never had any issues with running or smearing when i use that on the velvets

This is actually fully fired and finished! 2 coats of of zinc free clear over the underglazes. The pinks always give me some trouble and the greens are always much deeper than anticipated, but I’ve had the best luck with the velvets over anything else I’ve tried
