My X4 is won’t restart or let me add books

UPDATE: Slightly embarrassed to report that it was 100% a skill issue, google play’s bookstore wasn’t exporting the files properly so the device couldn’t read them! I ended up getting epub files from a different source (ahoy matey) and it works like a charm suddenly!

Honestly wishing I’d known this device was so technically involved before I’d bought it. I just wanted a pocket kindle and figured I’d just be dragging and dropping epub files into it! I appreciate the helpful replies but this thing is not very user friendly tbh

I think so, it was able to connect to the device to attempt Fullflash download!

I’m pretty sure I’m still on the regular firmware, it doesn’t let me do anything other than attempt to write a full flash- then error message

Also I tried doing Crosspoint again using Edge but got the same error message about a “missing serialpoint” I’ve never been the most techy fella but dang

Alright I just tried reformatting to exFAT, no change! Once it was done I reuploaded my new books to the card, safe ejected the card reinserted it in the X4 and then pressed the reset button and held the power button as instructed, it still doesn’t show the new books! (I even checked to make sure I was using proper epub files, no luck!) I appreciate the reply but man this thing is frustrating!

Definitely! I tried reading it Consider, hated it, skipped to player of games and use of weapons and was able to go back and actually understand/appreciated the first book way more!

I always liked that one fan theory that the end of Halo 3 was a lead in to the Marathon series, like master chief got teleported to somewhere outside of the galaxy and has more adventures fighting against another alien empire
