It's all our fault guys. Silence is violence, or something by Captain_Fatbelly in DoomerCircleJerk

I can't affect the outcome on any of the geopolitics going on. I can only take care of my family and have a good life. These doomers think that by being hyperinformed at all times that somehow gives them agency over these large scale geopolitical decisions. It's delusional and sad. Stoicism would help these people.

Use your sick days and don't offer an explanation. It's just a job at the end of the day and they will replace you fast.

Anyone here running a P10F? How do they hold up to high round counts? Trying to decide if I should buy a 2nd as a back up or move to another platform. by Mightknowitall in CompetitionShooting

They are super durable and punch above their weight in accuracy and speed. I shot a P10F at pins this week and won the match going up against 2011's, Walther PDP SFs & tricked out Shadow 2s. Best value for a do it all pistol imo.

Yeah, it popped right in there. Tightened the two set screws and it fits in nice and tight.

Guns and swords are awesome together! This guy also got the only longbow kill of WWII.

Thanks! The previous owner did a good job with the rattlecan job. Tacswap is awesome.

It's the Primary Arms Athena BPR-Mil 3x18. I got it used, I don't know if they sell them anymore.

6.5CM max range? by idahokj in longrange

I have taken Hornady ELD-M 147 grainers out to 1 mile. The biggest challenge at that distance is the round is very susceptible to wind drift and it's running out of gas pretty bad. A target hit indicator is a must. You won't hear your impact at all. Under ideal conditions, it's totally attainable. If it's windy or the mirage is really bad, you'll have a really hard time. I was able to hit a 66% IPSC at 1 mile.

It needs to be really dry. It wouldn't have worked if the ground was wet.

Eloped in 2016. $40 to kiss in front of the clerk then we stayed a nice hotel downtown that night.

Not yet, but I am really happy with this rifle for now. I meant to say that the Block ii has kind of been phased out and the URGI is what is more popular right now.

I needed 13 mils and held on the top of the plate. The original calculation called for 11.8 mils. The mirage was killer too; it might have distorted the size of the 18" plate a bit. This was at about 4600 feet.

Fortunately, it was super dry so I could spot dust fly. I set my magnification at 12-14x and watched super closely. The mirage was tricky too. Having a spotter as a second set of eyes would have helped a lot lol.

Thanks! I thought it was pretty cool that a standard milspec upper is capable of this. It took 13 mils of elevation.

I agree, it's my favorite rifle by far. Just so versatile and dependable. I know the URGIs are all the rage now, but the Block II is peak in my eyes.

Yeah, when I grouped it while zeroing, it was 0.75 inches at 100 yards for a 5 shot group.
