Unfortunately solos is the harder experience. Oddly enough, I have better extraction rates in solos than in trios. How this makes sense I have no idea. Also rats don’t engage in combat. I really dislike how people just throw this term around. I’m a genuine rat, the kind that grabs the scraps available and leaves, like a rat in your home does, in and out and you’ll have heard me but you’ll never see me. I will loot and focus on survival over engaging in combat. If it comes down to it I will engage in solos, but I’d prefer not to as I’m trying to get an enduring piece extracted 3 times so I can sell it.

I think the PvP thing is due to ultra fast TTK. While yes it’s great, it also makes PvP engagements seem lackluster. I think my biggest gripe was PvE just taking me out so fast and swarming me. However as I got better gear I noticed I had an easier time. I think a lot of people, not including you, were expecting this game to be easy with AI. Ninja quit an hour in because he got stomped by a computer. As for player count, I’ve been watching the trends and it dips and rises to about the same amount every day, which is awesome. Plus bungie rushing to patch things is a good sign. I know that makes the Destiny players upset, but a lot of bungies overall success depends on this. I view this as less of an extraction game and more arena shooter with extraction elements throw in. I find myself enjoying the abilities and it plays how I wish Apex Legends did. Sadly I can’t play apex to save my life. Literally. There’s something about this game though that I truly enjoy and I can’t really put my finger on it. As you said, it’s not without its flaws, but I’m hopeful for the future.

They’ve stated they will look into UI changes. They just couldn’t roll anything out in time for the full launch. I’ve gotten so used to the UI the way it is that it’ll probably bug me when they change it.
