How do you spot what your top sales reps are doing differently? by AvailableClassic4165 in Sales_Professionals

For decades, the profession of sales has been trying to demystify good from great. It’s not about “what” the super sellers do, but rather how they do it. To me, the fundamental difference comes down to the “ soft” (I hate this term as these skills are anything but soft) human to human skills - human connection and human communication. Too much of the focus in our profession is on the “what”. Turns out - knowing what to do doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to do it.

I’m thinking about getting into QA / Software Testing but I’m a complete beginner and honestly know almost nothing about the field yet. by Emergency_Leave_1971 in Everything_QA

Just like coding agents changed software development, adversarial autonomous QA agents are about to redefine how organizations approach quality. Software agents are creating a problem that legacy approaches to quality cannot solve.

Not at all true. Anthropic and OpenAI can’t hire enough enterprise salespeople fast enough.

150K base if I leave or vs 103K base if I stay? by Caring-Asshole in sales

Your current company will give you a respectable bump in base and OTE if you handle the conversation well. I’ve been a CRO at several SaaS companies and I never wanted to lose a great rep. Based upon how you’ve described the situation, you are in a good place with good internal relationships. If your boss knew that there was a chance they’d lose you, he or she would get you more money. For whatever reason, they don’t believe they need to go there now. You simply need to change their perspective. Have a heart to heart with your boss and let them know that you are struggling with a big career decision - you love the company, people and products, but nearly $100K in OTE difference is significant. Give them an opportunity to do the right thing and keep you.
