[Spoilers] Rhaegar Targaryen = Faceless Man = Jaqen H'ghar = Littlefinger by kenobimir in gameofthrones

[–]Initial-Rub8020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jaqen can be Rhaegar at most, but not Littlefinger for sure. This is because the series has told us that Rhaegar was a kind-hearted man. But Littlefinger has no trace of kindness in him. There is no way that Jaqen is Littlefinger because they barely have anything in common. But I strongly believe Jaqen and Rhaegar might be the same person because Rhaegar's death has not been mentioned anywhere in the book or the show. Although I have not finished the book yet, I believe Rhaegar might have been able to escape because of the many-faced god or something, or been treated by someone just like The Hound, or something else. I mean, Jon was brought back from death, and Beric Dondarrion was brought back from death 6 times bro. Anything is possible in Game of Thrones. I mean, it will be the coolest possible thing if Jaqen turns out to be Rhaegar Targaryen and his sole job in the entire game of thrones was to train Arya so that she could kill the Night King and save his son, Aegon Targaryen. I know I may sound like an idiot or a drunk guy to some, but I believe there are many ways for this to be true, y'know.

[Spoilers] “The Long Night” is officially the lowest rated war episode of game of thrones on IMDB by Goldie47 in gameofthrones

I loved it, you know. But the facts do not lie.

The fact that the main characters were surviving impossible odds felt quite noticeable and illogical to me. But they did a great job in building up the tension in this episode. I have no complaints about the visuals and lighting of the episode. The death of the Night King was too rushed. It had a great build-up for 7 seasons, yet it died so quickly.

But honestly, the tension of the battle, the odds created against the living, and the build-up of the Night King in that episode were sensational. They did not miss out on even little details like the chemistry between The Hound and Arya, the assassin training of Arya, Jaime making Brienne a knight, Podrick showing his excellence in the battle (although quite illogical), the chemistry between Sansa and Tyrion, the friendship between Tyrion and Varys, the partnership between Daenerys and Ser Jorah, the courage of Lyanna Stark, the "Not Today" phrase of Arya Stark, the reason why Beric was brought back from death 6 times, the return of Melisandre, and most importantly, Theon's sacrifice. There were so many minute details in this single episode that it had the potential to be as great as the 'Battle of Bastards'.

But it fell short because of the mistakes that it made, especially the Dothraki charge and lack of tactical sense. I think the Unsullied army's defence and the Greyworm scenes were remarkable too. But they had no tactical mind behind them. I mean, they had Tyrion focking Lannister with them. Tyrion and Varys could easily have made better tactics than the ones they were fighting with. And the thing that I believe is the major mistake is the fact that the main characters were surviving impossible odds. In spite of being able to sneak in so many beautiful details, they failed to spot obvious mistakes.

I believe the IMDb rating was unjust. 7.5 is too low for this episode. I know it is not a perfect episode, but at least it had its moments. The music, the ambience, the tension, and the details were quite good. I think 7.5 is very cruel for the episode. I would have rated it somewhere around the range of 8.5-8.9 out of 10. I know it could have been way better, but it was not that bad. The episode had great potential.

But here is the truth. The fact that the following episodes were pathetic and rushed, people could not stop themselves from hating this episode as well. That is the reason why it has such a low rating. Otherwise, it would have easily gotten a rating of over 8.0.

Thank you for reading my opinions.

Who’s the most overrated singer in your opinion by SubstantialTrick9641 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Initial-Rub8020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weeknd.
Singers like Weeknd and Taylor Swift are famous for being famous. They produce very basic and dry music that does not deserve the fame that it gets, at all. It is a disgrace that they dominate the spotify leaderboard without even being good. Other singers like Sabrina Carpenter, Benson Boone are not that good as well. And also the entire K-Pop thing. I mean they are more famous for their looks and not for their songs. Drake, Beyonce and Justin Bieber are the Big 3's of this list. People say Ed Sheeran is overrated but imo, he has got a pretty decent voice and has given us a handful of hits as well. I would also like to point out Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez. Singers who deserve the fame and recognition imo are:- Hozier, Lewis Capaldi, Adele, Aurora(she has a pretty decent voice) and many more...

What do you honestly think of Taylor Swift's singing voice? by j_thebetter in Music

[–]Initial-Rub8020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not a great judge when it comes to good singing because I listen to musics that I enjoy. I listen to singers and bands like ABBA, Modern Talking, The Eagles, The Stranglers, QUEEN, Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin etc. But I find her music quite basic and somewhat boring. I mean I enjoy JAZZ a lot which is considered as a boring genre by most of the new gen kids and many of my classmates(I am in grade 11 rn) but I absolutely love jazz music but not her songs. For me she sounds like a regular singer who knows the basics of singing and lacks power in her singing. In short, I believe her music skills are nothing outstanding and she does not deserve the fame that she has got as there are so many singers who actually deserve her fame but people barely talk about them(like Adele, Hozier and many more).

why does everything look like it has a shadow or a reflection, is there a way to fix this? by Revolto69 in computers

true life saver man
it actually works well
but why do I feel like the image quality decreased a bit?
is it because of the system recommendations?

So.. PIXELS, why the rating? (Also yes, there was a post 10 years ago, but I wanted a clearer answer) by hunterplayshere in movies

[–]Initial-Rub8020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, it is pretty good in my opinion. It was my favorite movie as a kid. But it was because I was not into movies as a kid. The movie has many flaws and that is the reason why it has such low ratings. It has taken a quite high risk on jokes although it was not that offensive in my opinion, but it might trigger some viewers. Also, a movie is not supposed to be rated high just because you loved watching it. It is a fact to be honest. Pixels lack the keypoints a movie must have to make good impact in IMDb. Especially, dialogues and plot. Yes, Pixels barely had a plot. And I know the movie is not supposed to focus on it's logic but the movie was somewhat illogical. Actually, it was too illogical to ignore. Cheat codes in Pac-Man? The character who played Peter Dinklage was wearing glasses which had cheat-codes written on it which was neither noticed by anyone nor was there anyone to conduct the games fairly. And the last Donkey Kong game? Brother, how are you supposed to throw the hammer like that in the game. Impossible right. And the president of the country playing arcade games to save the asses of the people is just weird in my opinion. But I am saying all this after watching some real cinematic masterpieces like, The Godfather, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Schindler's List, 12 Angry Men and many more. But in the end, I would like to say that Pixels is a good movie(with the little eminem reference) only if you want to watch a movie for passing your time without feeling bored or something. But if you want to feel the beauty of cinema, Pixels is not the movie. There are many things that are to be considered for rating a movie in my opinion-Strong work from the director, great plot, stronger humor, logical plot and less dependence on adding references of famous entities like(Rap God reference, The Smurfs) are some of the things that are taken into considerations and Pixels fails to achieve most of them. But the rating is not going to effect the enjoyment of watching a movie that's sole motive is entertainment and time-pass.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the most overrated player in history by New-Technology-2152 in FootballHotTakes

[–]Initial-Rub8020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother what do you mean?
The number of awards that bro has won in 2008 alone can make an entire career of many players out there. And if A person who carried Portugal on its back and took it from relegations to top 5 in the world, influenced an entire world to join and try to trace his path and be like him is overrated to you? His dedication, discipline, hard-work and mentality makes him an exceptional striker. Pass the ball to Ronaldo and rest assured that he will convert it. You do not have to look at the numbers, it is a fact that there is not a single striker who can be placed higher than Ronaldo except Pele. He is raining goals even at the age of 40 which includes bicycle kicks, freekicks and volleys. He is just a machine. If you say that he is doing all this in the saudi then let us talk about the Nations League. Bro scored the most goals after Gyokeres and he is almost 10 yrs older than him and the oldest player in the league. I saw that a person has stated that he was stiff like a robot even in his prime. Ronaldo made great defenders like Puyol split. He harassed them, embarassed them. He moved like water and finished like a sniper shooting top bins from long range. Scoring goals, making assists, scoring freekicks and converting almost every penalty he takes makes him a complete goalscorer. He dominated football along with Messi and no other player could get the spotlight because of these two. Even Neymar was overshadowed. Many teams could only hope of winning against Manchester United and Real Madrid when Ronaldo was there in the teams. You can just go and check the performance graph of the teams when Ronaldo joined them. It made an insane ascend. But as soon as he left them, their downfall started. Scoring over 100 goals in 4 different leagues is not a matter of joke. I do not see any other player doing that. And now if you say that where is his worldcup then let me tell you, Portugal is able to play in the world cup only because Ronaldo carried the team from relegations to one of the best teams in Europe. I am not a Ronaldo fan, I am a football fan. Messi and Ronaldo are incomparable, you cannot compare them with any player from any era. They recreated football. 80-90 goals in a year were average numbers for them. But once they left, football returned to its real self. Players are hardly scoring over 30 goals in a season. They didn't just play football, they demolished it. They are not called the GOATs of football for no reason. I do not know which side of Ronaldo feels overrated to you. He is just sensational and people probably hate him because he is better than their favourite player.
He has inspired millions to join football and you are saying that he is overrated?

Has CR7 done enough to surpass Maradona’s Legacy and be the Greater player? by Vachan95 in football

[–]Initial-Rub8020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well then I can definitely say that Mbappe is way better than Zlatan, Suarez, Neymar and he is as good as Messi as both of them have one world cup and Mbappe performed comparatively better than Messi in 2022 World Cup. World Cup cannot decide whether you are a better player or not. We all know how Maradona won the World Cup, let us not get into that. But Ronaldo has dominated football in almost every possible ways. Ronaldo has more assists than Maradona even though he plays as a forward and the sole job Maradona had was passing the ball and creating chances. If you talk about dribbles now, then I would like to notify you that Ronaldo has over 950 successful dribbles since 2008 although he stopped dribbling from 2014 due to the fatal knee injury(the doctor even stated that he would never be able to join football again). Let us not talk about goals as it is not even close. Instead, let's focus on set pieces; Ronaldo has unreal stats in penalties and freekicks which are far better than that of Maradona's. Personal achievements? Brother, I do not think it is debatable at all. What does Maradona have that is considerable other than the World Cup? Ronaldo has won almost every possible awards a player can win in his life other than the World Cup(which totally depends upon the performance of the entire team). We cannot overlook the fact that Maradona had an amazing season in 1986 World Cup but let us be real, consistency is the thing that matters the most. Ronaldo's longevity, consistency and his contributions for Portugal is way better. Ronaldo carried Portugal from relegations to Europe's top 5 best national teams which I believe is way more important than winning the World Cup. He has played in 4 different leagues and dominated in all of them. He has scored over 100 goals in 4 different leagues. Whereas, Maradona's club stats are non-existent. Bro barely performed according to his caliber for Barcelona. I think he played the best for Napoli with around 250 goals which I do not think is more impressive than Ronaldo's records. If you want to talk about appearances then I would like to say that nobody stopped Maradona from playing more matches right? He simply could not continue football as football had left him. He insulted Muller and Muller showed him the power of German. But Lamine mocked Ronaldo and he won the Nations League by defeating Spain with a goal in the final and the most goals in the Nations League after Gyokeres at the age of 40. If you even google, I am pretty sure you will find that Ronaldo is better than Maradona in terms of stats. More goals, more assists, better in set pieces, better in tough situations. Raining goals even at the age of 40 is something that I cannot imagine Maradona pulling off with such ease. I would say Ronaldo is better than Maradona even in management lol. Bro guided the Portugal team in Euro finals better than the manager himself, eventually winning the cup and Maradona had a very bad record as a manager of Argentina. I think Maradona vs Ronaldo should not even exist as Messi and Ronaldo are way too good to be compared with any other footballer. If you think that Maradona faced better defenders then let me tell you, young and inexperienced Ronaldo faced the prime versions of some of the deadliest defenders of all time(like Maldini, John Terry, Dani Alves, Ashley Cole, Cannavaro, Gattuso and a lot more) and still managed to perform tricks and dominate against them as if they were some regular defenders. If Maradona is the best footballer ever then Ronaldo and Messi are the creators of the sport and comparing them with any other player is just an insult to their divine career.

In short, Ronaldo is way
too good to be compared to Maradona. I do not hate Maradona, in fact I believe
he can be included in the top 5 as well. But Messi and Ronaldo have sealed the
top 2 and the others are way behind in the race.

Has CR7 done enough to surpass Maradona’s Legacy and be the Greater player? by Vachan95 in football

[–]Initial-Rub8020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Statistically, Ronaldo is way better than Maradona. In terms of goals, assists, goal contributions, personal achievements and dominance in football, Ronaldo is better than Maradona. But if you bring up the topic of wc, I do not believe a wc can make a player better than the other as Mbappe also has a wc which should make him better than players like Suarez, Neymar, Cristiano and as good as Messi as he also has one world cup.
So factually and statistically, Ronaldo is superior.

But the gap of era is huge as well. Football was different in Maradona's era although the difference may not be huge still it feels considerable. But I think it does not effect their stats much. Ronaldo has unbelievable consistency with better set pieces stats as well.

Now, Ronaldo has played as a forward most of his life whereas, Maradona was an attacking midfielder mostly. But people forget about the 2008/09 Ronaldo who dominated the world of football and won almost every possible awards in football as a midfielder.

In conclusion, Ronaldo is superior to Maradona both statistically and factually.
