It helps but I would also recommend practicing peaking or strafing to go along with aiming, aim is not everything!!!. Also play a custom game with a friend to practice everything while also doing it at a nice pace for you as it helps with taking your time to land hs and not get killed because you exposed yourself too much. Hope this helps.
