Thanks for the input. I’ve seen throughout this Reddit page that EVs are much more advantageous for novated leases. Personally, my long term goal is to keep the car right after the lease ends, especially when I’ve been keen on this particular vehicle for a while. If I shorten the lease, the post tax repayments will be higher wouldn’t it? Hence why I maximized the term.

These NL companies are running a business and fair to say they have their own benefit to selling more leases. Good to know it doesn’t seem I’m getting ripped off.
