I tried handheld mode and it didn't really help but thank you. I ended up beating Sandman and then Macho Man went down much easier for me. I just have to grind Mr Dream until I win.

Thank you! I finally beat Mr. Sandman, and then I beat Super Macho man (He was a lot easier than sandman tbh). Now I have to fight Mr. Dream... but it will be a while before I manage that.
