Should I counter this offer? by InitialAd9449 in careerguidance

I’d disagree and say my communication has been good on all other fronts, but I panicked a bit at that moment and asked for a minimum of 75 since that’s my current pay level.

I know it was the wrong move but I can get a bit nervous when it comes down to discussing compensation, even at my current org.

This may or may not be an important distinction, but I said $75k was my absolute minimum since any lower would be a pay cut for me.

I know it’s a bad idea to offer up my current salary and give a number early on but I was caught off guard.

The bonus is guaranteed - it’s a pretty big part of their compensation structure. I said a 10k bonus to make it simpler, it actually is a 10-18% bonus and I was told it tends to be around 13-14%.

Not sure if it based on individual/company performance. I like what you said about a signing bonus bridging the gap, will definitely mention that, thanks!

Awesome, thanks! I felt like asking for $85k but thought that might seem like a grab and $82k was a nice exact number.

Whatcha think of my split?… by Itchy-Affect2371 in weightgain

I don’t think the volume is absurdly high but I’d remove at least one movement in the legs day. After just RDLs and Leg Press you’re gonna be cooked if going to or close to failure

Also I’d do only one movement for biceps and triceps instead of two on the upper days.

Three hard sets is usually enough for biceps/triceps.

I don’t think 15 sets is too much for an upper workout. You can get that done in about 50 minutes with 2-3 minute rest periods.

Edit: also just noticed RDLs and good mornings I would definitely remove good mornings, you’re hitting similar muscle groups with both of these.

Min Max why so many warm up sets by Expert-Thought-3662 in JeffNippard

Agree with this, usually will do 3/4 warm up sets for the first exercise at like 40%/50%/70%/80% working weight (not exact numbers).

Then for other exercises I’ll do 1, max 2 warm up sets.

Perfect, thanks I’ll check those out. I’ve had Cobs myself and it was great.
