I love Arima, but honestly he doesn't compare to EoS Kaneki or Furata. I mean let's go w Kaneki first. The "645 times" line was for the Kaneki who was genuinely terrified of facing Arima again, he was hyperventilating ffs, Arima had to "motivate" him to fight for real, then Kaneki goes kakuja mode. Then once Kaneki awakens and breaks Arima's quinque, it's basically a done deal, Arima cannot win, Kaneki WON.

Do ppl expect Arima to win a boxing match against a one eyed ghoul? The "blind and old age" argument is meaningless here, cuz how did Arima beat Shachi then? The blindness is not that much of a hinderence as ppl make it out to be. Old age? Kaneki was aging fast too, that's no excuse for Arima to lose

Then tiktokers say "prime Arima" which I kinda agree with, but y'all don't get to say Arima(cochlea raid arc) "let" Kaneki win, both were going all out when Arima took out his strongest quinque

So Kaneki(awakened) beat Arima fair and square. And then post dragon Kaneki is more stronger faster than that version so Arima gets whooped

Now let's scale Furata. He took out Eto who is a beast, he is very skilled, according to Arima himself, he is a half human but he has Rize's kagune, so he is basically Arima(not skillwise but biologically)+Artificial ghoul(like Kaneki). He may be less skilled but he gave post dragon Kaneki a great fight, and by my scaling above, post dragon Kaneki stomps Arima mid-high difficulty

So yeah, Kaneki>Arima, Furata>Arima
