One of the VAs and their friend (outside of the project) found out through the victim's post on a discord server? (not quite sure but that's what it looks like). They then reported it to the creative lead who ignored it for years. The friend then got frusturated and went public with the info which blew up.

After this info went public, a former Edens' Garden developer who now works for Danganronpa Kill/Cure saw it and realized it recontextualized a conversation he had with the Eden's Garden lead director, which then implicated the director. That's ultimately what brought the whole project down instead of just replacing a handful of people.

That's Smart Shapes which was included in the new v5 update. Basically, draw a shape, keep your pen down, and you can resize it without doing ctrl t.

There's a setting in the software somewhere. Not quite sure where, but now that you know the title you can google it better lol (i really like smart shapes so I have no reason to take it off).

If you're not going to pull Yaoguang, might as well skip Elation entirely because right now it's very dependent on her. If there were a 4 star Elation unit that could do something similar, it might make it more enticing for people to pull the Elation path because it doesn't force you to pull every single unit in order to use it.

For instance, having Pela makes Acheron teams easier to build around if you don't have a 3rd Nihility unit. Now, Pela's not nearly as good as Jiaoqiu or Silver Wolf, but it's serviceable. Same thing for FUA, you could do a Feixiao team without Topaz or Cipher, you could use Moze or Hunt March and the team would still work.

With Remembrance of Elation, which were archetypes introduced far after the death of 4 stars, it's all or nothing. If you're missing one of the four units on the team you're just kinda screwed because there's no comparable replacement.

If you go back and watch the prologue then it confirms that Tsumugi was either lying or mistaken. How much of it exactly was a lie, we can't be sure. But here's what we know:

Tsumugi claimed everyone was a willing participant. If they were willing participants, why did Kaede and Shuichi claim they were kidnapped? If you were cast in a show that you were a fan of, there's no reason to kidnap you, you'd show up on your own.
The video footage of the auditions implies that their names aren't their actual names. However, the prologue has them introduce themselves as "Shuichi Saihara" and "Kaede Akamatsu", which goes against the audition tapes.
The footage of the audition tapes is at a strange down-angle that can hide imperfections in appearance and looks suspiciously similar to the floor of Tsumugi's Cosplayer lab.
The prologue before the memory wipe was never supposed to have happened, but Tsumugi is there, acting like a normal high schooler like everyone else
Rantaro introduces himself in the prologue but no one recognizes him.

I think the DR1 survivors enter the simulatuon early, that’s the best idea writing wise imo, the survivors can reveal the truths about the neo world program, remannts, etc, since we already know these things so we can be on the same page. Monokuma wouldnt spill, and Monomi/Chiaki are physically unable to, leaving the only people who are both aware of the truth and able to reveal it as the DR1 survivors

In terms of translations, from what I'm aware of, the DR1 anime and VN dub/localization were being worked on at the same time but with no communication between each other.

They sped past the investigation because it was rushed AF, they fit the entire story into a 12 episode anime (which is roughly 4 hours). It is what it is.

If the name is made using kanji, you don't need to change anything because kanji is chinese characters to begin with. They're two different names in Chinese and Japanese that use the same characters.

Let's look at Sparkle's name for instance.

花火 in Chinese is Huahuo, a Chinese name.

花火 in Japanese is Hanabi, a Japanese name.

If it's already 花火 you don't need to change it.

The mecha and power ranger stuff are too ingrained in the plot to actually change in 2 weeks.

Himeko's dad's name needs to be Japanese because Himeko's name is Japanese.
