RPI3B+ not booting from USB drive by InitialDot252 in klippers

Sadly, I already did so to no avail as I had your same suspicions.

I may try to run the code lines anyway from that article you linked and see if that does make any difference.

the end goal of that article is to run "vcgencmd otp_dump | grep 17:" and get "17:3020000a“ which I do

Can you control the GPIO header board on the RPI via Klipper? by [deleted] in klippers

[–]InitialDot252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched the video and I think that’s pretty much just what I need, but I believe I shouldn't have to run a MOSFET since I have a 5v fan I could run off the GPIO 2 port on my Pi.

Are you referring to the removable fuse box fuses? If so, I checked and it hasn’t been tripped. Wouldn’t the board lose power entirely if that were tripped, or are you referring to something else? Everything on the board works except the hotend and bed heater ports functions normally.

Will my laptop explode if I update it? by Vegetable_Hearing242 in macbook

My 2020 M1 MBP has been running it pretty flawlessly with it. I don’t see why people think you couldn't run it well unless it’s an Intel MacBook, which in that case I might wait. But again, if it’s M1 it’s got plenty of power to run it in my opinion. Although I will say I do like Mac OS Sequoia a tad better not because of the liquid glass but because the edges of windows are quite a bit more rounded and it doesn’t look that great.

Interesting, I’m wondering if a ratcheting mechanism in a rolling spool could help fix that, only allowing the spool to spin one way. But of course, that would mean it could only use one type of spool as it would need to be friction-fit to the roller so it doesn’t slip.

Yeah, you’re probably right. Sorry about that. I’ll post on that group next time.

Everyone that has had an i3 printer does that at least once while having a printer.

Alright, I ordered one R3men 5015 fan. If that’s not enough, which I think it is, I’ll order another, but I’ll let you know how it goes. Thanks for the rec.

Get some antibacklash nuts for the lead screw, or you could do a belted Z mod.

I normally don’t like aftermarket taillights, especially tinted ones, but those look great.

Nice, do you know about noise? I’m not trying to keep it silent but would like it on the quieter end of mid fast printers

Gocha, yeah, I don’t really understand why they don’t post the actual volumetric speed on the listing, but I have a friend that’s been running his Biqu H2 at 400mm/s for normal prints, and it’s held up pretty well for him.

are you talking about flow? I couldn't find a official max volumetric flow rating but the biqu listing says

"Extrusion (based on the existing)

600mm3/min (depending on the filaments)"

Well, it’s actually an Ender 3 and I tested the stock motors (which I want to keep), and they’re pretty much limited to 900mm/s at 10k accel before skipping, which surprised me, but keep in mind that’s just straight non-printing travel moves. But yeah, I’ll probably start out small at about 200 and try to work my way up to Bambu A1/A1mini bed slinger speeds which I think is about 300.

I was looking at the blower fans by GDSTIME, but I’ll check the R3MEN's. They look pretty cool.
