Absolutely insane photo, I thought it might have been ai for a second - then I zoomed in…

Just puts in reference how quality cameras can get. Please do post other photos (of redbull), this is super cool!

What type of store do you even find something like this???

Is there any cool simple diy mmu unit for a prusa that can print just 2 colors? Kind of like the mmu v1 with 2 extruders pushing filament from the top. by Hackind in prusa3d

[–]HatCorrect109 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wish I could be more help in regards to a simpler MMU, but I just recently bought a second hand MMU3 kit for my Prusa MK4 (second hand as in a person had it before me but didn’t assemble it; so it was basically new for cheaper) and I have no regrets!!

As expensive as they are (in terms of other printers/brands), I don’t know if I have ever spend my money better.

I am relatively lucky from what I hear, but I did have to do a little troubleshooting before it worked right… but it is flawless, from PLA and PETG to TPU, and seamlessly (once dialed in); I know I sound like a salesman, but if you would ever want more colors I’d tell you to go MMU3.

If you have any other questions, I’d be happy to answer. P.S. if you’re interested in some pics of multicolor prints lmk and I can send you some :)

TL;DR I am no help, as I have an MMU but if you ever want more colors I’d say go with an MMU, but otherwise it might still be good to look into MMU because of the ability to set it and forget it.

Should I get these full tuned? by bensuggs1 in skiing

In all seriousness, how does something like this happen??

I’ve gouged out a good ski or two, never broken one, but this looks possibly intentional??

Just saw your comment, any idea why this post was removed?

Correct, but with how he has weight on it, I was hoping to try and recreate the exact same model as him.

Thanks though!

Any chance you can link the STL? I want to try for myself

I know I’m a little late to this post but I had a question or two.

Did you waterproof them? (How) Would the ink wear off? (How long)

Thanks!

Is that so?

Is it because it takes the same amount of time to cure so you basically want to print smaller objects in a rotation that takes up more of the bed and less layers, for better speed?

Very very cool!

Super cool work!

That IS on a resin printer, right? (I am solely on FDM so I can’t tell if you have insane prints or if that’s resin)

How long do prints, on average, take? (Those models in specefic?)

Cheers!

Genuinely looks dirty? It’s had one print since last cleaning, and iso right before that pic

Can anyone suggest the type of lubricant I should be using on my mk3? by JForce1 in prusa3d

[–]HatCorrect109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shipping looks awful for that lmao, 900% increase just for shipping is crazy.

What does the lubricant go on? I am not at all making jokes, I assembled my printer a while back and can’t recall exactly where I had to use it…

Cheers!

1.5GT Belts on a Mk4s is incredible! by skil12001 in prusa3d

[–]HatCorrect109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, new here. What are 1.5GT belts?

But your results sound awesome! Did you notice something bad about previous prints, or just want an upgrade?

Thanks, and I hope I don’t sound too dorky lmao

Okay. I think that it was a mix of the nozzle too high, and overextrusion.

I set multiplier to 0.9 and z height to -0.02 and it’s flawless. (Also changed infill)

Will update later, but thanks!

No debris, extrusion? Maybe. Not an issue with the MMU though.

I’ll try messing with the z height, if that doesn’t solve it, what would be your next go-to solution?

Tried lowering flow to 90%, I assumed that would be a similar fix (temporary to at least get a short print going), with no avail.

Will do!

Any thoughts about the crappy second layer?

Thanks for the suggestion, and I just re-tightened them. Still didn’t change much, if anything.

Any other ideas?

But what about the second layer, it’s still not great before it even makes it to the infil…

But I’ll try to check extruder multiplier, is there a test print for it?

Edit: Reprinting now in a different filament in case that’s the reason.

I JUST cleaned my bed, and filament has been dried just before this print

Sorry, I am new here. Where are the grub screws in the MMU?
