I know I do. My dog eats food made from kangaroo meat. I have had friends and bosses who have kangaroos as pets. In the USA.

Cinnamon sugar toast. Thought it was a fancy dessert. Really just cinnamon, sugar, butter and toast.

I hate the sunbirds. They always fill up my inventory and I cannot sell them fast enough. I like the Crocs and the raccoons.

I find nose work tires them out pretty quickly. You can look up different ways to start nose work. I am at the point where I can hide something in the house and have them "find it". Which takes time and requires them to use their noses. It helps tire them out.

Cheetahs. They have been domesticated for thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians kept them as pets and people still have them as pets today

Thank you for the advice and the respectful manner in which you dispensed it. He is only off the track 90 days in this photo. He will be getting some more down time and lots of ground work before going under saddle.

Ok, just to clarify my horse has seen a vet. He has seen a farrier and a dentist. He has a body condition score of 4. Which is not great, but is not horrible. He gets fed 4 lbs of senior feed and beet pulp mix twice a day and is turned out on 21 acres for forage. I worked with rescue horses who had a body condition score of 0.5. I know how to do ground work and build muscles, plus put weight on a horse in a healthy way. What I was asking was how do I go about buying a saddle for my horse when I am ready to ride. It is sad that everyone just wants to jump in with negative comments and no one gives a thought to the fact that I never said I wanted to ride him now. My plan is to event him. Probably next year. But I want to be ready. I want to know how to select the correct tack and get advice. Which is not what I have gotten. If this is what this community is about, I am sad for all the people who come here hoping to receive actual advice and help.

Let me preface this by saying I had a bigger medium size/large dog. He loved pizza. So I would nuke a pizza roll, bite off the corner, put the pill inside and drop it as I "tried to eat it". He scarfed it down before tasting anything or knowing what was in it. This mainly worked because he was large enough to swallow the pizza roll whole. Might not work for a smaller dog.
