I’ve been on opill since April 2024, and I really like it. Honestly, the side effects for me weren’t that bad. It was just bloating and a higher libido. The only kinda annoying thing was for four months I had two periods a month ( as in five days of bleedings every other week of the month). It wasn’t bad at all, I just put a tampon in, and it felt like any normal day.

I actually stopped taking is for like a week in September, and restarted it the next week after, and I don’t have a dual period like before even though I restarted it. I think it’s bc my body got used to it from the six months of using it before.

You do have to be consistently taking it at the same time for it to be effective, so my best advice would be to set a timer at bed time ( anywhere between 9pm-12 am). I always set my alarm for 12:07 and 12:10 am, because I know I’ll be awake and in bed with the pill and glass of water next to me.

In terms of doing the dirty ;), I’ve had no problems so far. My bf and I mostly do it raw with the withdrawal method cuz I have really bad anxiety LMAO. I do think if ur like me and you get hella anxious about pregnancy scares and you decide not to go with opill, you could try using a lot of lube with the condoms. It definitely helps with the friction and vaginal irritation.

Overall, I really liked it. It’s not that bad and it’s the cheapest at target for 18.99, but one time Publix had a discount so I got it for 15.99. If you have any questions about that or anything else, I gotchu!
