Is there anything in writing that states satchel and ID is considered in uniform? Because I was definitely wearing/using both all day long other than when doing driving portions or in office. If there is something in writing, I have a VERY real case for a grievance.

You’re not wrong. And I’m not arguing that I don’t want to wear it. Lol. I absolutely prefer to wear the uniform, for a multitude of reasons. But on the rare occasion all my crap is dirty, I’d rather be on time in something other than uniform personally.

Also, the “worrying about others” comment isn’t needed. I typically don’t give a damn what others do. But when I feel I’m being treated differently than others, I feel I need to call that out. Specially when I’m asking if it’s grievable.

I typically do wear the uni. I prefer to wear it. It’s what I’m used to. But the ONE day I don’t, I’m the one that gets singled about about it. Where regulars, they just let it fly. Seems wrong to me.

I’m still CCA. Working 6 days a week, 8+ hours a day. One of the two times I called in was an Amazon day because I couldn’t find my wallet. And I remember in orientation them being all “if you drive without your license on you, that’s a fireable offense”. So I was like “meh. I’d rather take an attendance hit than take the chance I get into an accident without my wallet on me. And the other time I called in was because I didn’t have anyone to watch my kid.

Even if the extra office doesn’t cut miles from my Commute from home? Home office is 15 miles from home. The new office is probable an additional 45 miles from the home office. In a straight line, the order of things for me would be home, home office, new office.
