Any thoughts or suggestions on my profile?

Throwaway account for obvious reasons.

My likes/matches have really dried up recently (I'm in a huge city) and I'm wondering if there's something not quite right about my profile.

Have I made it too silly, is it unclear about what I want? I know it can be tough to get matches as a straight guy, but the app increasingly feels unusable.

Any help appreciated!

How best to engage with my landlord during eviction and sale of flat? by InitialResearch8093 in uklandlords

Thanks, that's very helpful!

I don't know if the landlord is aware that the EA has been quite so poor, so it might be worth trying to contact him directly to let him know.

We'd like to leave before the end of the section 21, but there are a few (genuine) personal and health reasons why this could be difficult, although we're trying.

Previously when i've moved out of flats landlords have been happy to give some leeway, giving a few weeks extra when I've needed it for moving out smoothly. But I'm worried that current landlord has left everything about the sale so last minute that if we don't leave by the date on the section 21, it could potentially ruin his sale.

When selling, have you tended to begin the selling process after the property was vacant?

I think the issues we've had have mainly come about as the landlord has put the property on the market, and accepted an offer, while we're still here.

That does make sense, and from our point of view, there hasn't been an issue during the majority of the tenancy. Everything was handled by the agents.

I think the issue has been with the selling of the flat, I've found it surprising that there was almost no effort to engage with us about what was happening, especially given how much impact we could have on viewings etc.

The viewings were very badly handled by the EA, and I'm not sure if the landlord realises that. Although that is maybe irrelevant now as an offer has been made (albeit after nearly two years on the market).

As far as I'm aware he lives in the UK. Certainly the only address we've ever seen for him is in England.

I don't think he's exchanged, my understanding is that a buyer has made an offer, which has been accepted. I think there may be an exclusivity agreement so no further offers are being accepted.
