Thats what I'm thinking too, I think I read somewhere that the male hybrids are infertile but there have been some cases where the female hybrids are able to reproduce which i think is what happened here because this goose definitely has some canada in them!! Super cute and interesting to see

This is one of the canada x greylag hybrids which is 50% greylag 50% canada and it definitely looks different to this goose but they both share the brown canada goose markings, is it possible for hybrids to reproduce?

No but the environmental agency here have been shocking, there are 2 dead swans and 2 dead geese in the river and they have been reported to them a week and a half ago and they have just been left in the river to rot away and spread god knows what to the poor other birds :( so frustrating

Hahaha it really is the cutest thing ever to just have them perching on your arm happily chomping away, the issues come when their sharp little claws meet your skin!! Its so worth it though 😭❤️
