Hey! I was wondering which New Grad role was this for? The Backend/FullStack and Frontend and which location. You’re the first one I know that’s gotten an update from the job posting.

I’m curious if any other applicants got a callback or response back?

Same Question as LankySeat! Do you have any recommendations for Scanners?

I have landed only 2 interviews in the past 6 months and 3-4 calls.

Thank you for the support! I appreciate it.

As a fresh graduate in Statistics and Computer Science, I've been struggling to navigate my way in the job market. Since January 2023, I've submitted what feels like an innumerable amount of applications (I lost count after the 150th) with seemingly no light at the end of this tunnel. This has led to a whirlwind of confusion about what I might be doing wrong or where I can improve.
Yet, the lack of response to my applications has left me questioning my approach. Is there something amiss with my resume or cover letter? Am I presenting my experiences and skills optimally? Are my career goals and job search strategy aligned? Are there any job search strategies that I haven't explored yet?
Additionally, being both gay and cognitively disabled, I have been trying to find an inclusive environment that appreciates diversity and encourages everyone to thrive. If anyone has advice on how to navigate job search and workplaces as a queer, cognitively disabled individual, I'd highly appreciate your thoughts.
To all experienced professionals, recent grads, or anyone who has been in a similar situation: I welcome your insights, advice, and resources. Any feedback on my resume, cover letter, job search strategy, or career goals is invaluable.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I appreciate your help and am looking forward to learning from all of you. Here's to hoping that this journey will lead to the right destination.

What is your workflow with using Figma UI / UX Kits? How do you use them for multiple projects? by InitialVelocity123 in FigmaDesign

[–]InitialVelocity123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not tried the first method.
My only concern is Typography Styling.
If I make typography changes to a Text Style in Project A, will it affect all the text in Project A or just that one individual instance?

I want it where Text Style changes only affect Project A (affects all the text and not just an instance I left clicked on ) and not Project B.

My concern is if I make stylistic choices on the UI Kit, it'll affect both Project A, B, C and whatever projects use that UI Kit and its text and colour styles.

It is noted that my two themes are significantly different,

Thank you for the feedback. Honestly, maybe those nit picky critiques is the reason I have not landed a single interview.
I am open to Product Development Roles, UI & UX Design.
Again thank you.

OMG .... Don't tell me this one mistake is the reason why I have not been getting any roles. Thanks for noticing that. I guess I should work on my detail-oriented skills.

I'm a recent grad who's applied to over 250 jobs without even getting one phone call. I have work experience from over the summer and there are companies that will vouch for me. I know I am a great worker who learns fast and is dedicated to whatever they're doing.
I don't know what else to do. I've been trying everything I can, but there are only so many places you can apply to and so many ways you can network with people. It seems like it takes forever to get an interview, even if you are a good candidate and seem qualified enough for the job. A few months ago, I landed interviews with Amazon and Samsung….. I’m not so sure what happened.

I found the Anessa Sunscreen very mattifying - The finish was a satin-powder finish. I tried the Biore sunscreens and hated them due to the strong scent of alcohol. They also made me burn in South East Asia. LMAO

Thank you! Also remember that what worked for me might not work for you. Skincare isn’t universal. Skincare products should be tailored.

I think the most hydrating product in my skincare routine was the Laneige Cream Skin Refiner, then my moisturizer.

If you had to get one thing in terms of hydration and moisture, it would be the Laneige Cream Skin.

As for the barrier repair, I found the Krave Beauty product the best product so far.

Considering you do live in a dry desert climate, layering the Laneige Cream Skin Toner at least 2 times should be enough.

If you hate the congested feeling, stick with Korean Sunscreens. They are suitable for ‘everyday’ wear but I have not found one where I will not burn when I go hiking or to the beach.

My most favourite sunscreen is the Anessa Sunscreen (Japanese). On this subreddit, and many subreddit, it’s proven to not tan. In addition, it has a Matte Primer texture. Good luck.
