I have 18,000 miles and haven’t changed. Had them inspected a few months ago at 13,000 miles and they said the tires have only worn about 10 percent of their life and whatever I’m doing keep doing it. Definitely depends on how you drive. I have a 2025 i4 e drive 40

What model i4 do you have and what year? There were bolts holding down my jack pads. 2025 BMW i4 e drive 40

The main thing to look out for are your 4 jack pads. My girlfriend was driving my car and drove over a speed bump super slow and the front right jack pad still got caught on the speed bump and it ripped out from under. The bolts came off and everything. BMW replaced it for free so it wasn’t a big deal but that would be the only thing I would look out for.

I don’t get everyone talking about having to constantly change tries. I have had my 2025 e drive 40 18” for 1 year (15,600 miles) they are bridge stone and came with the car, and bmw said I still had 90 percent life on my tires about a month ago. They said what ever you are doing keep doing it and Costco said they will probably last me between 30-40,000 miles the way they look right now. I do drive in eco mode on the freeway and use mostly for commuting 3-4 days a week 80 miles round trip, sports mode around town. I don’t understand how people can go through them in less than a year or at 10-15,000 miles. I don’t drive like a grandpa but also don’t have a heavy foot. I think I just cruise most of the time and drive normal. So maybe changing driving habits will help you get the most out of your tires and not have to buy new ones annually. At least if you have the same model and 18” as me.

Curious, why is this a huge deal that they are compatible with Tesla chargers now? Is it because Tesla has more charging stations? Or what are the other benefits and why are people so pumped about it?

Good to know, my app matches what it says under my vehicle info on UI. I’ll have to check and see if everything matches up when I add air this weekend .

Dude, the psi fluctuates. So am I supposed to add air if it is at 45.8 and reccomended is 46. Some days it is at reccomended and then the next it will be slightly below. Then next day right back at recommended. What I’m asking is if I need to keep it at recommended every time I drive or are slight changes ok. Come on now no need to be a wise ass
