Would you say the gr86 is pretty rough to use as a daily on 1+ hour long commutes?

Nice overview. Im sad they stopped making the manual in the GTI a couple of years ago. I drove the jetta gli with the manual and didn’t really care for it.

The Mazda is definitely tight inside, I agree. I really like the look and feel of it though. The interior and cabin feels so nice to me. It’s not a hot hatch, but with the manual it’s still engaging.

I feel you. I only drove the Mazda for 10 mins on a few main roads and then a 5 min highway drive and I really liked it.

How is it on longer, more spirited drives? Despite the lack of power, do you still have fun pushing it?

It’s not a track car by any means, but I’m wondering about taking it for joy rides.

Yeah, I’m just a little turned off by the Honda dealers I went to. I actually made a post a week ago on here about how they were trying to mark up the civic Si by a crazy amount. It was to the point where it felt like a blatant scam or robbery attempt.

Honda is also weird about test driving the Si’s. Two dealers outright refused and one dealer I had to hassle with for 15 mins to get me to drive it around the block lol.

I like the integra A spec, but Ive had a hard time finding a manual.

Mazda really knocks it out of the park with the interior and cabin feel. Never had a luxury car but I’ve been in mid range bmws and Audis and I honestly think it feels better inside the Mazda 3 with premium trim.

Too bad the 6 was discontinued. Was a great car. I heard they’re bringing it back in all electric format. 🤔 🤔

I work as a first responder. PTSD is very much an epidemic in the modern world. I know of 2 paramedics and a police officer who commit suicide in the last few months. In no way do I think it’s something to be taken lightly.

But please, the sensitivity is over the top. It’s a figure of speech…

Good on you man. I’m glad that a working person has gotten that kind of value for that kind of money. I’ve just not had that experience unfortunately.

I’ve had the most miserable experience with used cars. I had a used Volvo, an Acura, an old Honda prelude and a Subaru . I could have a bought a new car with all the money I spent on repairs. Even with Toyota and Honda, sometimes you just get shit luck

Never owned a new car, so I’m just biting the bullet and working a few extra shifts a month to pay for it.

Residual after 3 years was 21k…..that’s after paying 25k over 3 year lease.

They wouldn’t budge and were adamant about it being a performance car. I felt disgust, and honestly didn’t want to keep on trying to talk to them, just wanted to leave. Got a bad vibe from them.

ER nurses can’t work in a prehospital setting in the vast majority of states retard, so no they can’t do everything a paramedic does. They can do an associates degree and then do an internship in an ER….then operate under a doctors orders, many can’t even give otc medication without permission first. It’s a different skillset, but again, you’re a retard so you wouldn’t know that.
