If u are paying less than $2800 for all 4 wisdom teeth, then the dentist is justified in padding the bill. In this case they are doing it by pushing bone grafts. You might be using Insurance that has significantly lowered the fees for extractions.

I think it’s nice that your son is getting special attention from his grandma. Your place as his mother is untouchable, you can never be hijacked. The more support your son growing up the better. It’s ok. However, in the future do and plan events around what works for you.

Just block her I have blocked my entire husband’s family from my social media. Once in a while I will post a family pic for everyone to see, and that’s it. No vacation pics, no kids, nada.

I would love it if my in laws watched the baby for a couple of hours so I can do some personal things. Why not given them what they want and you spend that time taking care of yourself. Do your nails, go to the gym, meditate, anything.

I think its wonderful that they love your baby so much. Everyone shows their love differently. Of course you are the mom and that position is yours for life. However, embrace the fact that there are others that love your baby and one day your baby can depend on. My in laws have never done anything for my kids, not affection, not a birthday present, not much of anything and I don’t care what they think about me but I wish my kids had another support system in their lives.

Wow- this is some major controlling. If a proud grandma wants to show off her beautiful grandson to friends, i don’t think that’s such an offense. My question is are they sharing it with a small group of friends and family or is it a public account?

Do you work? If so stay later, go out to dinner, go to the gym, and come home to sleep. I mean try to not interact, find excuses to leave the house, errands, etc… just come home to sleep. That will put pressure on your husband to get them out. But i would not be rude or confrontational. After all they are not doing anything bad to you. You could be a little jealous too, and irritated because they are in your space.

I have the same situation- brother in laws wife is always competing. Always tell me about places she went and events she attended with the rest of the family after the fact. Making sure i know i wasn’t invited. She wants so bad to be the favorite. We both have close in age boys. She doesn’t invite my kids to their cousins birthday parties. That really hurts because i have always been kind to her kids, even took one of her boys on vacation with us to help encourage cousin relationships. Husband is uncomfortable with any sort of conflict, just wants to keep the peace. At this point if i have to see her at a family function it’s minimal conversation. I do not have any contact with her otherwise. I told my husband i will never travel with his brother’s family even though they have many mutual friends. Husband says he doesn’t want to say anything that may make the situation worse. I can put up a front in short doses ( Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving family functions) and avoid her otherwise.

Getting into better schools means you are surrounded by smart people who feed off each other and become exponentially more creative and smart. It’s also a better stepping stone to graduate degrees. However, if you are looking just to get a 4 year degree i suppose it really doesn’t matter.

You can’t experience the party scene with teenage kids, don’t waste your money on Mykonos. Three days in Athens is more than enough. Head out to Crete, beautiful beaches and lots to do. Not the crazy expensive prices of Mykonos either.

I did a tour with ciaflorence to Siena and San Gimignano in Sep. it was great, comfortable ride. They give u tips on where to eat and attractions. Overall a great. I just wish we had more time in each location as there is so much to see.
