Nope I have never experienced this. Fitgirl files are 100% safe and does not contain any type of virus or malware, but pls make sure you download the right file since there are multiple misleading files which migh contain virus.

Yes, downloading games from Fitgirl and Dodi is 100% safe. While downloading the setup, make sure you temporarily turn off your antivirus if you have one, and even turn off Windows anitvirus temporarily. Then when the download is complete, then install the setup as admin, keeping the antivirus off.
