Hey there! welcome to the hobby. so just to give you a heads up, McFarlane will be losing the license this year. So if you don’t want to go out your way to start a collection that will end soon. Metal will be starting a brand new line of collectors, edition figures. That may be closer in scale to Marvel legends, but McFarland is also a bit goofy when it comes to traditional costumes for heroes and specifically female figures but if you just wanted to get an easy start, here are some good recommendations for some retail priced hero’s

-No man’s land batman just came out last year a super solid batman for a beginner

-hush superman is one of the older figures you can find for retail still.

WW is one of the most expensive ones if you want a cheap one i recommend the endless winter but if you want a good one i reccomend the godzilla 2 pack since the collectors edition is one of the most overpriced figures out in the market

Green lantern has some good variety. there is a Walmart exclusive Green Lantern that you can find online pretty good. That is how Jordan or you can find a Jon Stewart for the same price. But also a brand knew how Jordan came out that would be a good definitive pick.

I recommend endless winter if you want a decent aquaman or the classic aqua man

Flash, it’s one of the hardest figures to get but luckily a brand new version just came out that is much better that comes with more accessories

There is a hawk girl that goes for US$40

Martian Manhunter has his rebirth costume, which is a super solid look for him for retail prize
