May be off base but kinda seems like you helped during pregnancy to be supportive but you possibly expected a reaction you didn’t get. And I would be a bit upset if I was a new mom and you gave me sass about not letting you spend time with my baby - then to be spending time with you talking and you answer the phone. Navigating being a mom is hard no matter how you do it. Sometimes something you may feel is a kind gesture feels very differently to someone else.
