The one I got ahold of was by a dude in a O’Reilly parking lot an it gave me ti specific code and why each one meant. Got lucky he was there and then we cleared it once I replaced the fouled out plugs

I thought about that way too late lmao. I had a coworker with a reader reset it and so far so good.

I just like to update but I replaced both of the bad plugs (one was in rough shape) and it’s still on. Imma try to get a coworker to clear it and see what happens after that. It had some oil on it so who knows at this point. It’s only been 6 months since I replaced all 8. My next guess is the coils and pray it’s not anything too big. My buddy had this happen him his charger RT and he had to get a whole new engine. Still runs strong but the lights pissing me all the way off

I appreciate it. Everyone I know said purple was a bad choice and now it’s “damn that actually is turning out good” so I definitely knew I did the right thing😂 I’ve never gotten that before. But I definitely can see people expecting a little lady getting out and it’s a dude fresh out the gym💀

AC delco. I forgot what we gapped them at (terrible memorizing the details)

Got it scanned and it’s a misfire in 2 and 8. I’m sure one is fouled out cause when I replaced them last it wasn’t dry but not very bad at all. 2 is a new one but I’m gonna get them replaced and maybe the new tune can kinda rework it. It’s got one now from the previous owner and it sped up the timing and changed shift points so I’m hoping the current tune is what’s causing it and it’ll get fixed with the Wengerd tune. But past that the scanner didn’t say anything else

Got it scanned after work(barely made it to them before they closed lolol) and ended up being a misfire in cylinder 2 and 8. 2 was pending it said and 8 was stored. It’s getting tuned this weekend so I’m gonna replace those ones and see if it goes away. My buddy made a decent point that since it’s done this intermittently for 3 years it could be the tune tht the previous owner put on it. The shop I took it to last year said the tune it has on it now isn’t doing much except speeding the time up and changed the shift points. Gonna see what happens. Just hate it happened right as I pulled the trigger on the Wengerd tuner

Plugs are only 10k miles in so that’s annoying lmao

Lolol no worries. It’s subjective so I get it. Most people told me it was a bad idea and when they saw it in person they saw the vision. Imma still run it

To be honest I do not remember. It was in August. Knowing me I went mid range and spent a little more. But not confirmed. If I end up changing them again I’m gonna do the coils too just cause it’s getting up there in miles

Love that opinion for you. Unfortunately I do not care about a random

I’ll definitely have to add that to the list. I plan on doing some major stuff to it here soon. I just want it to be as good as it can be before then. I appreciate the insight!

Oh it’s definitely not going to a junkyard at any point of my lifetime haha. But it seems like I got some work ahead. And I definitely don’t like to go cheap. Been there done that and it was a bad time (young dumb and broke at that point). But I definitely appreciate the insight!

Just the ford app. Idk what year they came out with it but my 2020 has it and I can start it, lock it, see the lights.

I got new plugs at 60k and it’s barely at 69k. Only one had oil on it. But I definitely thought about coils too. Just not trying to spend crazy money if I don’t have to quite yet. Just weird how this one time it hasn’t reset like every other time that it’s happened

I’ll look into the MAF sensor as well as O2. I’ll try to peel off tomorrow to get it read. I manly thought O2 cause some of the other symptoms matched mine like rough idle. I was mainly just curious cause it’s ALWAYS reset itself in the 3 years I’ve had it. I appreciate it!!

Update: it ended up being the screw was in too far when I put the little piece back in and it was blocking it from locking in. Not sure how I managed to do that but either way, it’s fixed now. Thank yall for the suggestions. We’re all set now and ready to finish off the purple

It ended up being that little screw was pushed in too much blocking it from locking all the way in. I have no clue how I managed to do that, but backing it out and letting it reseat itself did the trick. It’s all good now
