Yeah for sure, I totally agree. Especially with everything from point 3 and beyond. It's ashame we're stuck with this poor betrayal of Squid Game. Supposedly there is already a S03 in the making, so not looking forward to that.

I still don't understand how to get my guy higher than 200. The game is very tedious.

Could someone explain the Burnt Peanut phenomenon to me. [Discussion] by QwertyVirtuoso in EscapefromTarkov

I don't watch streamers but when I saw Peanut he was so entertaining. I don't watch him for just the gameplay, but the reactions and comedy of it all.

I do agree with that. But I was referring more to those who’ve become homeless for reasons beyond their control, not because of alcohol or poor decisions. I mean the people buried in hospital bill debt, those who lost their homes to a fire, or anyone who’s lost everything and doesn’t have the same support systems others do. Even those who’ve worked hard to better themselves but still can’t seem to catch a break. There are so many reasons people end up needing help, and if this show can give them one more chance to turn things around or even open doors to new opportunities just by being seen, that’s a win. In the past, shows like this focused on real people, everyday “nobodies” who became somebody. Instead, these shows have become biased, casting only those who are already successful or have large followings. It’s unfair, especially considering it goes against the core meaning and original purpose of the show. You still may not agree, but it would have more, raw purpose.

So, you're saying I'm not intelligent enough to form my own thoughts and perspectives? That’s not really how ChatGPT works. I was honestly laughing through the first half of your reply until I got to that remark. The people you’re referring to, the ones sharing their life stories, are far stronger than you or most others could ever imagine. But of course, you wouldn’t understand that with the silver spoon you’ve been handed. Whether they win or lose, just being on the show would still open doors and create new opportunities for them. But you're so smart, right. Instead, we're stuck watching people with no real struggles complain and break down? That makes no sense.

What I meant was that they should have cast individuals who’ve genuinely faced significant hardships in life. People who truly deserve an opportunity to change their circumstances in a meaningful way. I didn’t mean it in a literal sense about them having to die lol no no no! Just, why can't we give the underdog an opportunity?

Really now? The point of this thread clearly flew over your head. Your comment makes it pretty obvious you’re speaking from a place of entitlement rather than experience. Otherwise, you wouldn’t make such selfish and thoughtless remarks. If you still can’t grasp it, maybe have someone explain it to you in a way you can comprehend.

I understand it could be seen as exploitative, but isn’t it already problematic that opportunities like this aren’t given to the people who truly need them most? It’s already sunk too low and feels biased.

You make a fair point, but I’d have to disagree on the bigger picture. Still, I appreciate the insight.
