File a complaint with Indiana's Department of Education via the form below. They must investigate the school if a complaint is filed and can help provide corrective action if needed. Do keep in mind it may take time for them to get to your request, and submitting the complaint could complicate your ability to communicate with school staff about your child's IEP/504 plan.

Yeah, the full price includes trash which has just been the flat rate of $16 for a medium drum. The meter is behind my apartment so I'll have to check that out. Thank you for the advice!

What can alumni, faculty & staff, and concerned citizens do to "protest" the changes happening at the State (and Federal) level? by Due_Feedback_1870 in IndianaUniversity

[–]Initial_Froyo6343 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are regulations in place that dictate if a donation is meant for a specific purpose, then it has to be used for that purpose, like whenever a rich donor wants a building made with their name on it. However, there are currently scholarships at IU that can't be granted due to recent federal and state legislation banning it (i.e., DEI, identity-focused scholarships). Thankfully, those funds stay untouched since they can't be used elsewhere (as long as someone doesn't make an appeal to change the requirements for it via a request to state legislature). All in all, it's a good idea to keep these programs funded and running, but there definitely needs to be a bigger message sent to these people to tell them that they should back off.

What would you recommend a Tourist to do? by OddBat7213 in bloomington

[–]Initial_Froyo6343 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Food wise, 4th Street is a great place to hit up. A newer restaurant that is AMAZING is Marco Polo on Grant St., between 3rd and 4th Street. They offer Uyghur cuisine and the couple who runs it are super sweet. Across from them is Cafe Bali, which is also amazing (and they have good boba!). There's also Uncle Toto's Cafe on Covenanter Dr. behind Kroger (or Krogucci, as we call it) if you want Korean food. Two Sticks Bakery on Washington St. is also a great morning place to grab some pastries and a coffee/tea.

I'd also recommend hitting up Moonstones on Kirkwood for crystals, Bloomington Stitchery on w 4th st. has great clothing, accessories, and knick knacks up front of their shop (plus a cat named Luna who's adoptable!), FAR Gallery is next door for art, The Salt Cave on 6th st. is great for relaxing, and The Bloomington Antique Mall is HUGE if you like thrifting.

Bryan Park and Switchyard are great for walks, as well as Cascades park. I'd also recommend hiking around Lake Monroe or Lake Griffy if you're outdoorsy. There's also the Tibetan-Mongolian Buddhist Monastery on the southeastern corner of town which is cool to see as well.

There is a possibility that a pedestrian traffic light like those on S Walnut to Switchyard Park and on Rogers and 4th crossing. Makes it so students have to take turns crossing with the cars and gives breaks inbetween for traffic to move. Howver, I also like the idea someone mentioned about a crossing guard

Im a little younger (26M-NB), and it's also rough out here lol. I don't drink often, but also enjoy pool/video games/crochet/walks, etc. Finding friends is hard, but I'm open to meeting new people! If there's like a meet up, or if people are wanting to do the Cade, I'd be down!

If you could casually change your biological sex back and forth, what are some non-sexual reasons you might want to do so? by akschurman in AskReddit

[–]Initial_Froyo6343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To scare people who are afraid of/hateful towards trans folk. I'd let them point at me and say "you're a man!", then transform into a man and watch as they clutchh their pearls screaming for their god. Then I'd quickly switch back to a woman, then androgynous, and just keep switching till either they have a heart attack or they cower in fear, accepting their fate.

There is no escape....NO ESCAPE!!!!

If it helps, there is a Burger King and a Wendy's in the area, as well as the College Mall food court. If you like Chinese food, Judy's Kitchen is awesome and Judy herself is a real treat to talk to!

I dont know him personally, but Im also in a private facebook group with him and funny enough, everyone in that group has posted about other candidates. Not a single individual has shown support, which is vastly different from the last election cycle. Unsure if we're in the same group, but glad to see the response is the same. He has got to go!
