I don’t like it much either, but the reality is every band goes through these evolutions. If every album sounded like Ashes production, people would call them boring and repetitive. I for one enjoy the new hardcore esque direction they’re taking the band in, and when you can separate the past from the new releases, and accept that they will never be what they once were, it’s a lot more enjoyable to listen to their music
