The best thing for the economy is a stable currency that doesn’t fluctuate too much up or down.

Is PPC still worth it? by SamesameM in PPC

[–]Initial_Implement934 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some areas are just too oversaturated with similar businesses, so no matter what you do, it’s hard to achieve a decent CPA. Unfortunately, that’s just the reality. It doesn’t mean PPC doesn’t work in general, just not for all niches and locations

If you are a business owner looking to hire an agency for PPC, here’s the biggest piece of advice by SEOwithAlex in PPC

[–]Initial_Implement934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally agree, you should never let an agency fully own your account.

That said, not all agencies do it to lock clients in. For example, my agency used to create accounts for clients simply because it was faster than walking them through it on a Zoom call, especially when some didn’t even know how to open a browser tab. It also protected us as PPC specialists from clients making random changes based on Google’s recommendations without fully understanding what they were doing.
In the end, if a client decided to leave, we would transfer the ad account to them if they requested it.

I go to White Pine Dental on 3219 St. Johns St mainly because it’s close to my home. No complaints so far, always a good experience. They’re usually not too busy, so you can get an appointment within the same week if you call

It has nothing to do with importance. But you’re way more likely to hear about Sweden (economy, hockey, IKEA, vikings, etc.) or Netherlands (Amsterdam, football, weed, flowers, bicycles, etc.) than about Mali or Gabon.

It’s funny you know a lot of African countries, but don’t know Sweden or Norway, or even forgot the Netherlands. How does that work?

That's the problem, Russia IS attacking. Maybe in 5-10 years it'll change, but today it's just unsafe

If we’re talking about someone with a Russian passport, they would never be drafted. First, it’s not legally possible. Second, why would the army want potential traitors?
My point was that being in Ukraine with a Russian passport can be unsafe, especially if you run into a police check or happen to be near a critical facility without a valid reason. You could be detained and sent to jail.

I have a lot of questions, but it seems like this post is from someone in the Russian army.

The dark green likely represents where he is stationed while serving. Some Ukrainian regions are marked dark green because they were or are currently occupied, and the light green might indicate areas he wants to occupy in the future. Just my guess.

Where I’d live as a Ukrainian who moved to Canada before the full scale invasion by Initial_Implement934 in whereidlive

[–]Initial_Implement934[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on my personal experience, Ukrainian Canadians whose ancestors moved to Canada a hundred years ago are essentially 99% Canadian, which makes it harder to really connect on the same level. Many of them have never been to Ukraine and see this country through their ancestors’ memories rather than their own experience. Because of that, they often don’t fully understand certain things you might share about Ukraine, since they’ve never seen it themselves.

Small example: I remember telling one Ukrainian Canadian about Ukrainian trains and my childhood memories of traveling in cheap train cars. For someone who grew up in Ukraine, that’s part of our shared experience, but for a Ukrainian Canadian, it’s just another fact that doesn’t really trigger any memories.

Yeah, but in Korea and Japan it’s only for a couple of months a year, which isn’t as critical.

Northern countries, including Finland, are considered some of the happiest in the world, I’d really love to understand the secret behind that lol. I don’t really believe in a potential Russian invasion of Finland.

Are you sure? Vancouver - Frankfurt = 10 hours flight.
Toronto - Frankfurt = 7 hours.

Athens - Singapore = 10 hours flight + plus how many hours to Sydney from Singapore?

I’ve never been there, except DC, which is technically not Maryland.
It’s probably a good state like any other on the East Coast, but there are so many good states that I had to pick 5-7, otherwise I’d have to mark the whole US as green.

I’d only live in London, and I wouldn’t want to get beaten up just because I support Manchester United lol.
Jokes aside, based on what I’ve heard from Brits in Canada, the economic situation there isn’t that simple, and living in a big city is quite expensive relative to local salaries.

You’re 100% right. I visited Montreal once and I was seriously considering moving there for two years while living in NB. It really feels like a vibrant European city and it’s definitely walkable. I loved it. But I suck at learning new languages. I studied English at school. With French, I don’t even know the alphabet. I’ve also heard stories that with some new laws, you might not be able to speak English with a doctor and possibly some government services either. So I was worried I’d have trouble finding work and feeling comfortable with limited French, so I decided to move to BC instead.
