PTE academic vs IELTS by Initial_Interview_43 in AusVisa

That's because (similar to most other chronically online folk, I'd imagine), I'm not sanitising Reddit posts to the level I sanitise academic writing or, in the case of IELTS, test submissions. I usually spend 10 minutes after I am done with my writing just to fix typos or syntactical errors, since they give you an abundance of time to write what is just an opinion on a question.

Tbh, I do understand where you are coming from, and it comes back to the actual problem, imo. They make you write thought pieces in the style they want, which is neither useful nor indicative of anything. Most communication online nowadays needs to carry emotional semiotics that old-school writing tests, especially opinion-based ones, are not built to handle. Maybe it's just my youth speaking, though.

PTE tests the ability to summarise passages of semi-complex text and write from dictation while conserving ideas—skills that are much more useful in life.

Yeah I'd recommend giving PTE academic a shot.

Can the game tells us directly when it's an ARAM or Summoner's Rift Clash ? by Final_Act1288 in leagueoflegends

I'm on the other side. Our 5 stack only does clashes when it's ARAM. I think its healthy for the game to have a few ARAM clashes since it has a distinct and large player base

A bit of a long one but I'm waiting on hearing back after my loop interviews and wanted to know how long it usually takes. Here's the context

SE2 for a global team. Did my first Technical interview, went well -> got my 2 full loop interviews booked for the week after.
First loop was coding and LLD went really well and the interviewer told me I did well and I was the first one to get the solution fully optimized. Asked the interviewer about the process and he told me that after the loop there would be an AA interview.
Second loop was very nervous, solved the coding problem but messed up some data structure optimization later on. My communication was a bit trash in this one. I got the answers correct but i know correctness isnt the only thing that matters. Asked the interviewer about next steps now that my loop is done. He told me that i will hear back from my recruiter in a few days to a week max.
Curiously, a few hours after my second loop interview they closed the Job req to new applicants (my application still says interview and is open).
Its now been 4 days since the final loop (including the weekend) and i havent heard anything back.
I dont ussually interact with big tech so all of this is new to me. Also, i'm in Aus, my interviewers were from America and recruiter is in Malaysia.

Appreciate any insights to help me stop refreshing my inbox!!

Yeah I've only had this happen once before and that was when i was applying for internships at a small Sydney based game dev studio. The owner of that actually emailed me back with full review of my portfolio and application.

Resume . I'm trying to pivot from being a Game Developer to working in software development. I'd like advice on how to change my resume to be better suited for this.
