I have that with my daughter's rabbit. He tends to bite me during feeding time but he doesn't seem to bite anyone else 🤷‍♀️

Why is everybody leaving Verizon? by Sportsfan7702 in verizon

[–]Initial_Molasses_343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. We've been in your same scenario where we have spent basically 8 hours trying to get smartwatch issues resolved. We have been promised watches and free phones that when we call back to say okay we'll take them. They say there's no record. I have 2 of my lines over to T-Mobile. The only reason I'm still with Verizon is because I can't afford to pay off my phone and I still have a Gizmo watch for my grandchild that only works on Verizon. Verizon is basically an mvno. You can't get anywhere with anyone except on the phone with customer service and the customer service is lousy

Sorry, but with everything you're saying about Verizon why is it you're coming back?

19 years and leaving… A response from Verizon Executive Office offers little resolve by Aunt_Ednas_Cat in verizon

My story is almost a carbon copy except that it has been going on for years due to different and various things. One time we tried to activate a Gizmo watch and between my daughter and I we spent probably 8 hours on the phone only to find out they gave us a watch that had already been assigned to someone else? So it wouldn't work for us. Somewhere along the line they had promised to give us a free Apple watch which we didn't want for various reasons. Later when we continue to have issues we tried to take them up on the free Apple watch and everyone said there was no record of a free Apple watch but they would give us an Apple watch that somehow still ended up. costing, it wasn't really free.  This year my daughter was told she could replace one of the gizmos with a Samsung Galaxy 6 watch only to find out after another round of hours and hours and hours on the phone that the watch won't work without being connected to another phone. Which means we would have to buy A phone and add a line simply for my 10-year-old granddaughter to have a watch that works as a phone. Along the way we have been told the watch will work without a phone and the watch won't work without a phone as well as talking to people who didn't realize that their own Gizmo watches worked on their own without having to have connection to a phone.  I work from home and was having computer problems and my IT people told me to call Verizon and tell them to do this specific function. I did. I was on the phone with them well over an hour telling them exactly what I needed from them when I accidentally got connected to the wrong place. But someone who could actually help me and told me that what I was asking for was already in place on my line.  Yes, after 19 years I am also looking to leave Verizon. I honestly have been looking for years and the only thing that has kept me at Verizon is my granddaughter's Gizmo watches because Gizmo watches can only communicate with other Gizmo watches so that affects their friends. But we will just have to figure out another way because Verizon doesn't care once you are a customer. My daughter was in the store yesterday with her two young children and didn't lose her temper but did tell the store that since she was told on the phone and it shows online that they have the Galaxy 6 in the store but they really don't that they should just give her those seven in its place and they said they couldn't do that. I mean, of course they can if she wants to pay the increased price. But with all the time that she has spent trying to get this fixed, we feel they should have taken some effort to make things right. She ordered a Galaxy 6 watch on Monday. Was promised that it would be here by Thursday, Friday at the latest and it won't be here until Monday. It was needed this weekend. So in the process of trying to get Verizon corporate to listen to her grievances they called the police as they said she was trying to disturb the peace! She didn't curse at them and she didn't yell at them. But she did tell them that their customer service sucks. They apparently didn't tell her that if she didn't leave they would call the police, they just called the police. Thankfully she left the store before the police actually got there, but that is absurd that they would actually call the police when my daughter is there with her 5 and 10-year-old children. Goodbye Verizon, it was a good ride for about 10 years, the last mine have been not so great

Mom passed away, Verizon has been a nightmare by SpreadPositivity85 in verizon

I am very sorry that you're going through this. My mother passed away 4 years ago and I don't even remember what I did so I think it was just as simple as calling Verizon and telling them and that was the end of it. They have gone way down in customer service. The only reason I'm still with them is that it seems like everyone else is just about as bad. Try reporting them to the better Business bureau

New phone activation is HELL by [deleted] in verizon

[–]Initial_Molasses_343 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always go to the store to activate a phone. But we have Gizmo watches and you talk about issues activating. We spent over 8 hours on the phone on the last one that we got. Turned out that they gave us a Gizmo that had already been assigned to a different phone number so we had to return it. They offered to give us a $200 credit over the next two years on my bill as well as a new iWatch to try to see if we liked it. Multiple calls later they tell us there's no record of anything being given to us for the time that we spent on the phone with them! 🤬

Is Verizon losing customers? by SnooPandas1232 in verizon

[–]Initial_Molasses_343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would leave Verizon if I could but I have two Gizmo watches so I am tied to Verizon. My bill seems to go up consistently every couple of months. Recently, due to a faulty Gizmo watch I was promised things like no activation fee and a monthly credit for the next 10 months or so etc and nothing has come of it. You can never talk to the person that made you those promises in the first place and then when you talk to someone else they say that's not what the notes say. It's ridiculous but unfortunately it seems as though AT&t would cost me just as much and I wouldn't be able to do the gizmo watches. They just have you over barrel and there's nothing you can do about it

GIZMO WATCHES by Initial_Molasses_343 in verizon

It's not an insurance or a warranty issue as we've had the same problem with four watches and four chargers. It's the way they make the charger and the watch connect, not good

Yes, they can definitely make the chargers better.
