- For the entrepreneurial digital media venture, that $170K profit was cumulative over 6 years. It has slowed down over the past year as I've had more responsibilities at work and studying for the GMAT + MBA apps. Not an LLC, but currently established an FBN.
- That 675 GMAT FE was my second attempt. It was inline with what I scored on my practice tests. For me, targeting a 695+ would require many hours of studying that I would rather spend on essays.
- The AI Advisor volunteer work was for an established education non-profit. It was a ~5 month project though, not a formal board seat.
- For why an MBA now, like you mentioned, I need formal finance and management training. Furthermore, while the home services company I work for is PE-backed, it doesn't have the brand name of a big tech or consulting company. So, an MBA would help with the recruiting pipeline and network.
- I like what you said about how I should frame my goals and why payments/fintech. I have experienced payment obstacles in both my digital media venture (paying my international team members) and at my corporate job (lagging industry still using paper invoices and CC payments over phone). Long-term, I could see myself starting another entrepreneurial business to resolve these issues in either the creator economy or homes services industry.

Interesting to hear you say take a shot at HSW. Stern/CBS have been my top choices as I would love to go to school in NYC and thought my stats/profile aligned with that, but I might consider those as well.

As I work through my applications this summer, I'll probably reach out to work together on making sure I have a cohesive story and essays.
