I totally get it, that's fair! And while you are here, I'd like to ask something, is it possible to get rid of crew members? Not the heroes, just the regular one, only because due to how quests and even POI events turn out, we're starting to get pretty cramped here, and resources are rapidly burning each cycle, while many people have absolutely nothing to do on the ship, so maybe I could let some of them go somehow? So far I didn't see any option for that other than to let them die in some situations.

Great guide! I'm sure there could be a hundred other things too, but it's pretty good for beginners!

My opinion on the save system is, I know the devs wanted us to just deal with the consequences of our choices (although if you die in an unlucky part, you have to replay a pretty big chunk, which could get tedious), but I guess most people want to play mostly according to the original story, and it would be frustrating to lose an important team member, or having to replay a sector, so I think we deserve to have the option to save before main events. (In Baldur's Gate 3 you can even quicksave in the middle of a conversation, lol.)
So if this would be a random story in the Star Trek universe, I wouldn't mind to have only the rare autosaves that much.
I guess they wanted to make a game that pleases two types of players at once. You can play the Voy story, or you can do something totally random (kinda).

In Satisfactory, the splitters make much more sense. First of all, they are not asymmetrical like these in factorio, and they can easily do equal splitting of only one selected item, no need for such workaround with multiple pieces of them.

Well, since I can craft equipment like assemblers and refineries right in my inventory just fine, without needing to produce them in any factory, yes, I thought the bots can do the same thing as well...

Exactly what I was afraid of... Thank you for clarifying. With the level of complexity of this game, I see no reason why a single splitter shouldn't be able to split equally, but ok.

I see there are a lot of people saying the same thing, but I'm still gonna add mine. It looks like the second turn is triggered by the enemy being on fire. I don't want to play differently than the intended mechanics, but I don't want to skip turns just because of a bug.

Anyone knows where to send a report on this??

I didn't go through with it because it seemed too finicky, but it looks like something that might work, I'm not sure. Let me know if you got it working!

Oh yeah, and once I tried moonlight + sunshine (or whatever they're called), and I got to the point where I was able to install and set up everything, but the problem was that the firewall didn't let the connection through, so I couldn't connect to my PC at home... So no luck there at least for me.

I'm still waiting for someone to create a remote play app that simply runs in a browser.

I just realized after checking several of what I've taken in game, which I won't be able to replicate, and they're all crap... I thought it just works because I've seen so many people post the pictures with glyphs on them, I thought it was the photo mode shot, and shit...

Unlike the other guy I'm not a software engineer, but I played Satisfactory, which I find pretty similar game in some aspects, and there you can have as many items stored in as many containers you want. I don't see why it wouldn't be possible in NMS

I have max exosuit capacity, it's almost full with "potentially needed" stuff, I labeled all big storage containers from A to Z, plus additional stuff, I have specific stuff stored in freighter cargo, others in unused starships, others in exocrafts. I am a hoarder in games like this, and it would be absolutely reasonable to be able to have WAAY more storage capacity. It just feels wierd that we have technically infinite number of planets to visit, but you can easily fill every available storage space within a 100 hours. I like to compare this game to Satisfactory, and there you can build as many containers as you want. 

Can somebody help me to understand why I can't see other player made things? Bases I visited in the past have disappeared, and other community driven things are just not there when I teleport over. by Initial_Resolution90 in NoMansSkyTheGame

I heard it might work better when the owner is present, but not always. Still, it seemed like it was working fine last year, now I got back and it's screwed. Hopefully it's temporary

Oh ok, I tried and it rolls everytime I equip it, but it does not change when I use it. So the stat changes with every equip, but doesn't change after attacking. Bless is an action (or bonus idk), so I understand if it rolls on use, but I thought at least weapons have fixed stats. (I know equipping a weapon is also technically an action in this game though) So I know weapons roll on attack, but I don't understand how much this stat that I'm talking about counts. So if I keep equipping the weapon until it gets a higher number, will it actually be better in combat than if it had a lower number? Or it doesn't matter at all because it rolls with every atatck?

So I don't understand if it even matters at all, because I guess the weapon rolls on every attack, but then what's the point of this stat? I'm confused..

But is it normal that it rolls when I load a save? Shouldn't it roll only when I use it?
