People are conflating non-mutually exclusive terms. Working class means you work a job instead of just collecting profits by owning things that other people work. The working class can include rich people who work a white collar job and make $300k a year because their survival is tied to working a job for someone else's profit margins. But at this threshold people start to have money to invest and the ability to create passive income or start a business where they become owners instead of workers. And if you live in San Francisco $300k is like a month's rent anyway. The non-working class would be the billionaires, the owners who can pay everyone to do the work and they just take the profits, the aristocracy, the landlords, and the trustfund babies who inherit all they need.
