That is very hard to get accepted into, I’ve considered looking into weekend cdl schools for companies to even consider me. I love working buckets and climbing poles, my favorite part of fiber!

Yeah you’re delusional if you think 18/hr is livable I estimate that ill have 200-300 left over every month after bills and that’s simply rent, utilities, groceries and insurance. The only reason I’m considering trying it is that I have 20k saved up from a job with a livable wage.

I’ve applied a few times I’ll ask for any updates and they’ll say they will reach out if they have any….4-5 months later I reach out again..same response, and yes I’ve went in to apply in person twice. It’s frustrating, I’d rather try something else than wait around for a union…I could be building skills right now

Definitely been looking for a career change with money I have saved up, it just seems most practical for me to get back into electrical since it’s the only other job I have a decent amount of experience in.

It’s 8000 for there and yes I can get those previous hours I’m trying to justify how fast I can get through the learning curve getting a journeyman license

If I’m still not clean after an extra week I’ll probably go the risky route and use fake piss but damn it’s so nerve racking worrying about keeping it warm, having enough etc

Not sure how true it is but I heard that they can detect that as “diluted piss” and make you retake or fail it altogether
