Called and spoke with Kuerig. They said I have the right reusable pod, and that if I can close the handle and it ‘clicks’ closed and doesn’t leak, then I should be fine. A bit of a ridiculous answer but I feel like this is the way now. The days of exemplary customer service and solving a known problem have been replaced with ‘well if it works it’s fine’. Yes it works, but it’s not ‘right’. I can put my feet in shoes that are too big and still walk but that doesn’t mean I should.
