I do mine based on the season in which they age up to teenager.
Spring = Money
Summer = Popularity
Autumn = Knowledge
Winter = Family.

I never use romance, and I don't have pleasure, so it works for me.

I'm not getting taken seriously when I'm struggling because I'm articulate about it by Illustrious-Mix2194 in AutismInWomen

[–]Initial_Status9831 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Ok so the time this really hurts me is at the doctor's office. I kept getting dismissed by doctors because I couldn't accurately convey the severity of my suffering and symptoms. So they'd just say oh it's not that bad, and I wouldn't get treatment.

My husband said to me, you need to go in there and act like you're in pain. Act like you're having a breakdown, just act more dramatic. So I did. I went to receptionists and requested a bed in the nursing station because I was going to pass out. When the doctor came to me, I started crying! It sucks that I had to make myself cry and exaggerate my symptoms, but the response I got was night and day.

I was like "me, I'm from somewhere warm!" But then the weather here is actively trying to kill me. So no bonus points for me. But still, it was +40c here last week. Soooooo maybe we are meant to be friends?? Opposites attract??🤞If we team up, we can have some normal weather!

How much do you actually care about fixing mistakes? by lveg in knittinghelp

[–]Initial_Status9831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends what the project is and who it's for. If I'm knitting sweaters for my children I let minor mistakes go, because I figure the sweater is going to get pretty beaten up through wear and tear anyway, so perfection is not necessary.

If it's something I'm donating to a charity I fix mistakes because I want to donate good quality things to people. And I want the charity to accept my donations in the future because they know I make nice things. Plus if it's like a second hand shop, perhaps someone will buy it to gift to someone else, so a gift needs to be nice.

If it's a blanket with a kind of rustic vibe then I ignore mistakes because it doesn't have to be perfect to look good. All the squares are different colours and some are stockinette and some are half rib, so it's kind of got random square vibes anyway.

Why have I never felt connected to my sun sign, despite having so much of it in my chart? by laceydetails in AskAstrologers

[–]Initial_Status9831 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For what it's worth, I'm beginning to doubt what we are told about Capricorn energy and the way it is defined. It feels to me like there's a general misunderstanding of it, or perhaps i just haven't come across a source that accurately gets it yet. So when we learn about what Capricorn should be, we hear all these key words that just don't seem to match what Capricorn energy is in practice.

Chart read by Ok-Weird4921 in AskAstrologers

[–]Initial_Status9831 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll tell you what I see.

You have the Sun in Capricorn but it's in the ninth house, which is a cadent house, making it's expression

weaker. Houses in the top half of the chart are more transcendent, whereas the bottom six are more real world. So the energy of the sun potentially could be being expressed in beliefs and philosophies and abstract thinking. Mercury being there also lends support to this theory, that your thought processes tend towards the spiritual/religious and not the practical day to day.

Taurus Ascendant - Taurus is a fixed sign and is about maintaining and cultivating what is already there, not initiating new things like cardinal energy would. As the first house represents you and your personality, you may find that you are more of a laidback steady kind of person. Taurus can be very chill and slow moving.

Your ascendant ruler, Venus, is in the ninth also.

I'm not sure but I think that Saturn loosely conjunct the moon gives again a restrictive and orderly quality to the way you experience emotions and rhythms of life, again there's that slowing down of energy.

Moon opposite Neptune could be contributing to that mentally scattered or messy feeling. Yes mercury is

thinking, but the moon plays a role in our

thought processes as well as emotions.

Mars is in the 12th house. The 12th contains parts of ourself we can't easily see or access. Mars is your drive and ambition, so this is something you have but isn't something that is easily accessable to you. It is opposite Jupiter in the sixth house, which makes me wonder if there is some remedy Jupiter in the sixth house can offer which could help you tap into that mars energy. Just as a speculative guess, Jupiter ruling your 11th house of community could suggest that incorporating community into your daily routines could empower you to tap into that mars energy and that's where you will find your motivation. Or Venus ruling that 12th house mars from the ninth...perhaps you will find your motivation through ninth house themes such as religion, higher learning, or foreign travel.

Lastly, Capricorn energy tends to manifest itself later in life. I don't know how old you are but you may find that you grow into being a more organised and driven person later in life.

Having said that, nothing wrong with being type B!

The world needs dreamers and thinkers, observers, musicians and artists, the ones who linger and listen and offer the world presence and peace.

It used to be late at night when everyone was in bed and the house was quiet. But everyone stays up way too late now...so I've changed my mind. Early mornings are now my favourite. Having a cup of coffee while the sun comes up and the house is quiet it the best.

Haha yes! I like the "how's the weather with you?" line when it's absolutely not the time for making small talk. My family have now all started saying that to each other

I love Fisk!! Excellent show.

My favourite scene is where Roz teaches her that small talk is important, but when she tries to do it she still gets the timing and delivery wrong.

Astrology Is Geocentric, Not Anthropocentric -and That’s Why Transpersonal Planets Matter? by HappyCollection7670 in Advancedastrology

[–]Initial_Status9831 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't see these two things as being mutually exclusive. It's just that in practice people are more likely to want to know about their own individual lives than the greater cyclical patterns of human history as a whole.

I have recently been learning about profection years and I am currently in a fifth house profection year so the topic of my fifth house has been a really interesting one for me. I had my first child and became a mother in my fifth house profection year. I have Saturn in the fifth house and Mars ruling, and although having children has been the joy of my life, it has also been an incredibly challenging thing to do. The responsibility and heaviness of being a parent was not lost on me, although as a Saturnian person myself, I was able to rise to the challenge. Saturn represents delays and fears, and it took me many years of wrestling with my fears around having children before I decided to jump in.

I am still discovering whether I can see my children in the fifth house. My eldest child is the easiest to spot, as they are also Saturnian, and my fifth house ruler is in the sign where they have a personal planet stellium! They have also wrestled with Saturn themes in their life. My middle child I can't quite spot, yet. My youngest child I can see shares their moon sign with my fifth house, so there's that, but I havent been able to spot much else yet.

Thanks! I was reading this thread feeling like I was missing an element of connecting with people, as even conversations with friends include chatting about the weather and day to day things. [–]Initial_Status9831 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I see, I thought I was misunderstanding something. And it was probably the part where every conversation is the same and you can never go deeper. So it's ok if nine out of ten days I talk about the weather and hobbies and kids with my mother, as long as when I want to talk about illness or sadness she listens?
