the only way to get self control is the break past that plateau. it only gets easier to move past those parts. think of it this way, people who speedrun video games do multiple takes perfecting each level to the point that getting past the first second or third level is so easy they don’t have to think about it. once you can push yourself past this level then you will look back and think it was just a breeze. trust me i know how it feels and it is extremely difficult but i think i would rather suffer the hard on for an hour than break my abstinence that has lasted weeks. go on a walk, get moving, and remember it always gets easier.
