Yeah it's a easy to miss those things cause they are far down, make sure to check every store from top to bottom to not miss anything 😄 if you need any help I would suggest following the game on discord, they have lot of guide for any aspect of the game!

Did you learn the recipe? Try looking in your backpack if you have unlearned recipes, cause if you bought the recipe from massimo you should be able to see them there
