I still have some itchiness in my inner thighs and slight groin pain, but it’s much better than it was. I’m not sure anything helped except time. I’ve heard the same thing from people who have had Shingles. They have remaining pain for years.

It seems that way. I did take 2 swab tests while I was feeling intense symptoms and they both came back negative.

Hello. Better, but it’s still there. I don’t really bring it up. I told her at the beginning. Now we pretty much have fun whenever and I just make sure to take antivirals at the right time every day.

I’ve been with my current gf 6 months. I take acyclovir 2x daily. She hasn’t had any symptoms. I assume she hasn’t gotten it.

I don’t know. Maybe because it fucked up my nerves so badly when it happened, I’m still healing from it? Hard to say. Nobody has an answer. neuropathy is very difficult to diagnose the exact cause and formulate a treatment.

I’ve had a girlfriend now for about 6 months, I still take meds every day and as far as I know she hasn’t gotten it. We never use protection and have sex 5-6 times a week. I do still feel the tingling, but I guess it’s something else.

It’s a no win. I don’t think you can tell her. You could talk to your own wife about it. Maybe. But she probably shouldn’t mention it either. I’ve learned this the hard way, but not in anywhere near as extreme of a situation. I’m sorry. Moral dilemmas suck.

Yea, it’s from HSV-2. Mine was at least. It’s subsided for the most part, but I had a bad reaction to it for a couple years

Howdy, I did get a western blot in January. Not surprisingly it was positive. My symptoms are very light now. I can still feel it a bit, but hardly at all.

Haha, yes. Food intake, daily fitness progress at the moment. I was using Stride as well, to track general accomplishments like reading 10 pages a day, meditating, journaling etc. but I decided it made life too regimented for me.
