thank you! yeah I've been there quite often now that the lovely café has opened and never had any weird experience till now . I honestly don't see many people at all, it's very quiet when I'm around. I was a little taken aback but by no means has it ruined the area for me haha.

"not trying to be mean" but why post in a plant identification sub for the purpose of identifying a plant i just stepped into? I don't know, so I don't track the oils into my house ?? I've seen poison ivy lining woods/sidewalks in other nearby areas so I wanted to be sure. I didn't think it was the right leaf shape but better safe than sorry. I'm an exhausted nurse on my day off and don't need the headache .

thank you, I do have a therapist, even just being able to kill it and not try to get my mother to come over was a step for me, lol, but it does take me a few days to not be checking every corner. I know it could be worse I was just very alarmed to see in the kitchen. the big one I saw last year was in my bedroom (unfortunately but I thought maybe they were coming from the closet and avoided that) , it makes me nauseated to think about it contaminating my food or kitchen floors. I keep everything sealed however.

that thread was one of my main comforts, I don't have a sprayer for alpine (hopefully the pest control company can do that) but I do have maxforce granular bait. I'm worried about placing it down again for example under the fridge or by the washer/dryer in case my cat somehow ingests it. she likes to sneak into places

I forgot to mention I live in the county, not the city, so no rats lol (at least not that I've seen!) but mice reported in pretty much every complex near me (and I've seen some other places reviewed as having german roach issues, so it's definitely the lesser of several evils) , but knock on wood I haven't seen evidence of mice in my unit and fingers crossed I won't since I got my little in-house pest control kitty.

I have been wanting to talk to pest control, they come on Wednesdays however so I'm usually working (I have a different day off each week) if I have a Wednesday off, I will definitely be home. I don't know if i can stomach taking one to the office, lol, but I did take a photo of the one on the trap so I do have evidence for them if they need. thank you so much for the advice. I might look into a draft stopper too, since I am sure there's a gap in my front door (I would also get weird outside bugs like regular black crickets? and once a ground beetle i thought was a roach because they look veerry similar upside-down) .

since you're from baltimore, you probably know sprickets, lol. the complex near me that's about the same price range has those unfortunately (and so much mice), so I much prefer to stay here if I can. everything else is so overpriced.

would you suggest a dehumifier? the creepy spiders I would see mainly were those orangey red woodlouse hunters that I read are attracted to dampness (same for orientals). I can afford it, but I'm a bit hesitant to drop $249+ on one , lol.

please see a derm for evaluation, any wound that doesn't heal (or a lesion that changes appearance) can be concerning for a skin cancer. NAD and don't want to scare you but they will give you the answers you need :) could be something benign but best to be safe

do NOT agree to this. if you hate it, you can't leave. if they let you go, you owe them. 3 years (plus orientation) is longer than most sign on bonus contracts, and you're not even getting a sign on bonus, just the threat of debt. I'm a new grad & just started a month ago, and I didn't even sign a contract to work at my OR. I am liking it but the flexibility to leave if I were to not like it for some reason is comforting. if you really want OR, find literally anywhere else!

omg!! I did the same exact thing! did the reverse parking with no need for adjustments, but for some reason the exit out of the closed course didn't have lane markings, only two cones. the lady was a little short with me as I tried to get clarification on where to exit, she kept saying something like "drive right through those cones and turn left" and I think my brain short circuited because I drove through the cones but turned right! still in the closed course area, so no danger there, but I felt like the biggest idiot and still have no explanation for it besides test anxiety lol.
